Elite Training Camp
A little over an hour later, the plane landed at the Hongning Base City Airport, the Global Headquarters the Limit Martial Arts Hall.
After leaving the airport, Xu Qing and his group took a private car directly to headquarters.
"Such a retro architectural style," through the car window, you can see the buildings of the entire Base City, very beautiful, with pavilions and towers everywhere, all in the style of ancient Chinese architecture.
"Because the Master of the Dojo was Warrior in China before his Grand Nirvana, the buildings here are all in this style," Yang Hui explained to them.
The entire Hongning Base City is located near the border of Asia and Europe, which is equivalent to being abroad.
After the Grand Nirvana, there are only five major powers on Earth: Huaxia, the European Union, the Soviet Russia, the America, and India.
There are a total of twenty-three Base City in the world, and Hongning Base City is Hong's territory because he is the strongest in the world.
There's also the second strongest, Thor, who also controls a Base City.
As he listened, Xu Qing began to nod, indicating that he was about to enter fishing mode.
Seeing his attitude, Yang Hui shook his head helplessly; he really had a big heart.
A short while later, the car stopped in front of a wide gate.
"We've arrived. This is the Elite Training Camp. Let's go."
Xu Qing and the other two followed Yang Hui out of the car and entered the gate of the Elite Training Camp.
Although Heng Xia wasn't a member of the Elite Training Camp, he could still go in and take a look; perhaps he'd have a chance in the future.
Passing through the gate, a giant dragon sculpture comes into view, about fifty meters high, lifelike, and giving people a great sense of oppression.
Luo Feng and Heng Xia glanced at each other, and their expressions changed.
Xu Qing, however, remained completely unfazed, asking, "Why are there names all over the scales?"
"This is the ranking in the Elite Training Camp, based on the students' combat power points, from highest to lowest. There are currently 182 students here, no, it should be 183. If Luo Feng can pass the test, you'll be 184," Yang Hui said.
"What happens to the last place?" Xu Qing asked curiously.
"If the bottom three finishers accumulate three such instances, they will be eliminated and sent to the Basic Training Camp," Yang Hui said with a smile.
"Ugh, this is so troublesome. Why don't you just send me to the Basic Training Camp now? It's all the same to me anyway, there's no difference. Heng Xia, let's keep each other company," Xu Qing had originally wanted to relax and slack off comfortably, but it turned out she couldn't.
Heng Xia opened her mouth wide, stunned.
"Hey kid, don't even think about it. You've already signed the contract, and you still want to run away? Just stay in the Elite Training Camp obediently. With your level, there's no way you'll be ranked in the bottom three," Yang Hui said irritably.
This kid is always causing trouble. Everyone else is desperate to get into the Elite Training Camp, but he's too lazy to even go.
"Really? Then I'll give it a try," Xu Qing immediately changed his mind.
Yang Hui was speechless. How could this kid be so lazy, yet his cultivation level was so high? Isn't that infuriating?
Luo Feng, standing to the side, was both amused and exasperated; this future brother-in-law was truly unique.
"Alright, come with me. Don't wander around inside," Yang Hui thought it best to get Xu Qing inside as soon as possible, otherwise the kid might change his mind halfway through and want to go to the Basic Training Camp with Heng Xia again.
With his strength and level of skill, what good would going to the Basic Training Camp do him? He'd probably just slack off.
The Elite Training Camp is a large palace complex, with flowers, trees, streams, pavilions, and towers, creating a very beautiful environment.
"So many foreigners!" Xu Qing looked over and saw many young men and women wearing training clothes, with black, white, and yellow skin.
"They are all trainees from the Elite Training Camp, and that's the Nine-Story Tower, where all the trainees study and train. They basically spend all their time there except when they're sleeping," Yang Hui said, pointing to the tall tower.
"Where is the place to sleep?" Xu Qing asked immediately.
Yang Hui looked annoyed. Why was this kid so concerned about these things? Hadn't he given up on his slacking off yet?
"You're from Jiangnan Base City, and you're staying at a place called Jiangnan Pavilion. There are other trainees from Jiangnan Base City there as well," Yang Hui told him.
He paused, then added, "Moreover, there's a student among the top five here who already possesses the strength of War God; even I'm not confident I can defeat him."
"Xu Qing, you have great talent and the potential to break into the top five, or even first place, on the rankings, provided you don't slack off."
"Hmm, it doesn't matter whether I'm first or not. Anyway, with just a casual move, I can reach a height that others can never achieve in their entire lives," Xu Qing said in a self-satisfied manner.
"Forehead..."
Yang Hui was stunned. What he said seemed to make sense, but it also seemed to have a big problem.
Luo Feng rubbed his chin, thinking about how Xu Qing had always scored 700 points on tests, no matter how difficult they were. He concluded that such a person must have an exceptionally high IQ.
It can be said that Xu Qing is the real academic genius, the kind who relies entirely on talent.
He's so confident, and he has the right to be. Even if he exaggerates a little, it doesn't matter much, because he can achieve it with just a little effort.
Others can only ever be envious.
"Forget it, I'm tired. Let's just destroy it. Communicating with such a monster is too torturous," Yang Hui sighed.
"Uncle Yang, it's not good to sigh at such a young age. You should smile, be happy. The world is a beautiful place. By the way, weren't we supposed to put Luo Feng to the test?" Xu Qing said earnestly.
Yang Hui rolled his eyes. This kid's speech was so unpredictable; what did the first and second halves of his sentence have to do with each other?
"Phew, Luo Feng's assessment isn't until tomorrow. We need to arrange accommodations for him today. You can check into the Jiangnan Pavilion directly. Do you want to go Jiangnan Pavilion first, or wait until Luo Feng has completed his test?" Yang Hui asked.
Xu Qing thought for a moment, "Then let's wait for my future brother-in-law to come along. I won't be short a day or two."
"Are you so confident that Luo Feng can pass the test?" Yang Hui asked in surprise.
If Luo Feng fails the test, he'll have to go to the Basic Training Camp, and Xu Qing will have waited a whole day for nothing.
"Of course, I have confidence in my prospective brother-in-law. If he doesn't pass the test, I'll tell Sister Xin on him and make her consider finding another prospective brother-in-law," Xu Qing Qingzhi said.
"Cough cough..." Hearing Xu Qing say that, Luo Feng choked. This future brother-in-law is pretty ruthless.
He had to pass this Level B test at all costs, otherwise his future brother-in-law wouldn't be on his side.
"Hahaha," Yang Hui burst into laughter.
"Alright, then you and Luo Feng can come with me first. Heng Xia, you wait here and don't wander off. I'll take them to complete the check-in procedures."
"OK."
Soon, Xu Qing and Luo Feng arrived at a two-story pavilion, where everything was in an ancient style.
"You can rest here for the night. If you want anything to eat, just call and order, and someone will bring it over. Don't wander around. Tomorrow at noon, Luo Feng, I'll take you to the Nine-Story Tower for the test," Yang Hui instructed.
After giving his instructions, Yang Hui left.
