Kikyo's voice continued from the dead of night until dawn.
A night of fierce fighting had left not only the main battlefield, but even the forest at its edges, awash in color.
The Konoha elite squad had already withdrawn. They were one of the teams assigned to protect Tsunade, and after Dong Ge was injured, they would return to her side.
"Katsuyu, you should leave too." Dong Ge brushed the dust from his clothes, rose to his feet, and spoke expressionlessly.
After recovering at midnight, his chakra had almost fully returned.
Only the fire in his heart had yet to die out.
"Dong Ge-kun, what are you doing?" Katsuyu keenly noticed that something was wrong with Mirai's expression.
He looked somewhat dim, and it made her feel uneasy.
Dong Ge closed his eyes, reached out, pulled Katsuyu free, and held her before him. "Help me deliver a message to Tsunade."
"What does Dong Ge-kun want to say?" The slug was not accustomed to being carried like this. She turned her head and asked.
"If you don't want too many Konoha shinobi to die, retreat."
As soon as he finished speaking, he gave Katsuyu no chance to respond and casually flung her away.

Dong Ge crouched low, chakra gathering beneath his feet as he leaped away.
Watching the distant figure gradually shrink into a black dot and vanish into the woods, Katsuyu finally chose to give up.

"The battlefield is getting farther away. This should be the other side of Kikyo." Mirai looked around, repeatedly confirming that no one was following him before taking out a black sphere.
