As Mirai's emotions stirred, the lines before him changed slightly.

"You finally decided to come back." When the Third Hokage saw the travel-worn Jiraiya, a smile appeared on his aged face.
Jiraiya smiled and nodded, then leaned lazily against the wall as he asked, "Where are Oromo and Tsunade?"
"Tsunade is conducting some research, while I sent Oromo to deal with something," the Third Hokage replied. The two of them no longer seemed to be speaking as superior and subordinate.
"It's you. After the war ended, you never returned to the village. You only had Uchiha Obito pass along a message. Do you know how long the others have been bothering me?"
The Third Hokage scolded him with a smile. Jiraiya's failure to return from outside clearly displeased the other Elders.
However, given the current circumstances of the three of them and Huo Ying, they could not decide what to do and could only come to the Third Hokage to complain.
"Teacher, I've caused you trouble," Jiraiya said, bowing to the Third Hokage.
The Third Hokage laughed. "I'm not used to you being so polite..."
Of his three disciples, Jiraiya had always had the most carefree personality and never bothered with pleasantries.
