Dai Yunze found everything around him unbelievably real. Though he was standing in the void, his feet still felt as if they were firmly planted on solid ground.
He looked at the enormous planet hidden in shadow, the vast sea of stars reflected in his eyes, and murmured, "Is all of this real?"
Tang Liu stood up. The sofa he had been sitting on then vanished into the endless void, seemingly not something that would be easy to find again.
He slowly paced over to Dai Yunze's side, pondered for a moment, and said, "How should I put it? We're still in my wooden cabin. I've merely projected the universe around us."
Seeing Tang Liu stand, Dai Yunze no longer remained seated either. He stood up as well and said, "But this all looks so real. I feel like I could touch it directly..." As he spoke, he glanced behind himself. Sure enough, the sofa he had been sitting on had also disappeared, and it did not seem as though it had simply been hidden away. This only made Dai Yunze more certain that the cosmic scenery around them was not merely a projection, as Tang Liu had claimed.
Yet Tang Liu clearly had no intention of explaining it in detail. He merely said, "What do you think I wanted to talk to you about?"
Dai Yunze temporarily pushed aside his thoughts about the universe and the sofas, then shook his head. "I don't know."
Tang Liu smiled faintly. With his back to Dai Yunze, he looked toward some point in the endless universe. He raised a hand and pointed at the darkness there, then swept his hand toward Dai Yunze. In the next instant, a slender blue line wound its way out of the void, passing between Tang Liu
