Tang San is the son of Tang Hao and Ah Yin. His mother was a transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor, explaining Tang San's Blue Silver Grass martial soul and extraordinary innate talent 3 4.

He enters Shrek Academy and becomes one of the Shrek Seven Devils. Under Master Yu Xiaogang's guidance, he develops Blue Silver Grass as his primary martial soul while concealing the Clear Sky Hammer as a second martial soul 117 129.

During the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Elite Tournament, Tang San repeatedly pursues rapid advancement through high-age soul rings. His use of ten-thousand-year rings on the Clear Sky Hammer alarms Ning Fengzhi and Shui Xinhan, who conclude that he is repeating the fatal mistake of a previous Twin Martial Soul possessor 149. Tang San reaches Soul King level and joins the Shrek Seven Devils’ Seven-in-One Fusion Skill against Su Yun Tao. The technique gives him temporary power beyond level 70, but its five ten-thousand-year rings break down his body rather than closing the gap between them 169 170.
