Five light-years away in the Sara System, at the Umojan Mobile Fortress.

Port 4, artificial atmospheric environment, 1.0 standard gravity.

One after another, deep red-painted transport ships, guided by thousands of red signal lights on both sides of the port entry track, entered the magnificent dome of the mobile fortress, large enough to accommodate battleships and cruisers. Standing on the docking deck below, one could see a magnificent and awe-inspiring sight: starlight tens of thousands of light-years away, and the ships entering the port seemed to be coated with a layer of golden light.

This mobile fortress is like a lunar-sized steel fortress; it is so enormous that landing on it feels like heading towards the surface of a planet.

More than 20,000 ground crew, engineers, and ship repairmen in Umojan work to ensure the proper functioning of this mobile fortress. They are scattered throughout various isolation zones, compartments, and ports, like gears, screws, and nuts operating in a massive machine.

Today, the Umojan mobile fortress, temporarily leased to the Augustus Korhal Revolutionary Army, has become the Revolutionary Army's new forward base. It stores a large amount of gas, fuel, and supplies. Apart from its weak firepower and slow movement, it can almost be deployed as a giant Mothership on the battlefield.

To counter potential enemy attacks, the Revolutionary Army deployed a large number of Mag Mines and tens of thousands of sensitive space mines around the mobile fortress, turning the area around the fortress into a dangerous minefield.

Space is a multi-dimensional, three-dimensional, rather than two-dimensional, combat environment. Fleets operations are more akin to submarine warfare in the deep sea, and these treacherous minefields are sufficient to deal with any reckless attack. If the Confederacy Fleets were to warp directly into a minefield without prior confirmation, a terrible death trap awaited them.

Only by knowing the detailed layout of the minefield beforehand can one find a narrow and winding passage to avoid these dangerous high-explosive mines and the incredibly powerful Magnet mines that Augustus had sourced from the Moriac factory.

When in use, the Revolutionary Army Marshal's Command unimaginatively named this mobile fortress Fortress One, which is undoubtedly the idea of some boring marshal.

At 12:34:21 local time, the Revolutionary Army Fleets flagship Hyperion, entered berth A, surrounded by a large number of dragonfly-like turbine-powered unmanned repair robots.

Before the Hyperion even entered port, Augustus landed in a Wanderer-class shuttle at the top-level dock of the mobile fortress and immediately attended a memorial service to commemorate the soldiers and Fleets pilots who sacrificed their lives in the rescue operation.

At that very moment, Augustus was comforting people who had just escaped death at a refugee camp in the fortress belonging to the Cha- Sara refugees.

This resettlement site was originally a large warehouse inside the fortress for storing ore. Now it is filled with beds separated by tents and distributed supplies, temporarily housing about 20,000 citizens of the city of Cha Sara Los Andares.

With a Revolutionary Army responsible for maintaining order, the still-shaken people did not riot, except for exchanging their meager belongings or mourning their deceased relatives.

The most frequent topics of conversation among them were descriptions of the Zerg's horrors and vehement condemnation of the Confederacy. The Omega Squadron's attack on the Cha Sara refugee ship had already caused a sensation. At the same time, an even crueler reality made the Cha Sara people fully realize the Confederacy's true colors: the Confederacy Navy stood by and watched Cha Sara's destruction, offering no response to the Cha Sara people's desperate cries for help.

Even the most hard-hearted person should not ignore the cries of anguish that have raged on Cha Sara for over a month. As an allied colony of the Terran Confederacy, the Confederacy's military protection of its member colonies is part of the alliance agreement. Even from this perspective, the Confederate Congress has betrayed the agreement they signed with the Cha Sara immigrants more than a hundred years ago.

Once such a betrayal is made public, the Tarsonis Confederacy will lose the credibility and prestige they have built up on their allied planets.

Unsurprisingly, as soon as Augustus appeared before these still-frightened people, everyone who saw his resolute eyes and robust physique regarded him as a savior.

Wearing a deep red cloak, Augustus was treated like a hero as he walked through the middle of the settlement. Those who praised him may have recently criticized Augustus's Revolutionary Army as no different from terrorists, because wherever they went, there was war. But now those rumors have turned into praise.

"Facts have proven that the slander and insults against me and the Revolutionary Army have been completely discredited. The Revolutionary Army is the most steadfast protector of the Terrans and the defender of human honor," Augustus promised the bewildered people of Cha Sara.

"Don't worry about your future and that of your families; we'll leave you there when we reach the next habitable planet."

As soon as the words were spoken, cheers erupted from the crowd. The Revolutionary Army's war correspondent recorded the moment and immediately began writing an article describing everything that had happened that day. The Cha Sara rescue operation would be described as one of the most glorious chapters in human history. Compared to the Terran Confederacy, which ruthlessly abandoned its people, the Revolutionary Army was the true glory of humanity.

After Augustus finished speaking, Raynor, standing behind him, shouted through a megaphone, "If any of you want revenge against the Zerg or the Confederacy, feel free to join the Revolutionary Army. We welcome everyone, whether you were an ordinary citizen or a jailer in Los Andares prison; the Revolutionary Army will always welcome you with open arms."

Raynor's words immediately resonated with many of the Cha Sara people, for whom the pain of losing their homes was almost irreparable, and in the hearts of these hateful people, there was nothing left that could be called "home".

Augustus spent very little time at the refugee camp, nor did he have the time or inclination to deliver a lengthy speech. After shaking hands with a few refugee representatives and surrendered Cha Sara Confederacy officials, he headed straight for the alien research laboratory platform in the mobile fortress.

Clearly, something very urgent was pressing Augustus attend to.

"The situation is terrible." Sarah Kerrigan had been following Augustus, said this only after Augustus walked a long way from the settlement and entered the passage leading to the alien research laboratory platform.

"Tell me in detail just how bad it is," Augustus.

"We ultimately rescued approximately 320,000 people trapped in Los Andares, of whom about 40,000 tested positive for a terrifying alien parasite and an enzyme virus we had never seen before. This Zerg virus can even alter the DNA of those Infested Terran."

"A Wraith tasked with tracking the Zerg has spotted the retreating Jormungand Brood Fleets engaged in combat with an enemy on the edge of the Sara System. It appears the enemy the Zerg are fighting is still invisible; our pilots can't see anything except clusters of golden flashes," Raynor reported to Augustus as soon as Kerrigan finished speaking.

"The Sara System is riddled with signs of spacetime distortion, the entire space is riddled with holes—an unknown, Great Fleet has arrived."

"Bad news keeps coming," Augustus said, looking at Raynor.

"Two groups of enemies we've never seen before are locked in a fierce battle in the Sara System. And unfortunately, humanity is caught in the middle."
