Halsen, Dorian Administrative District.

In Dorian's office, Sarah Kerrigan, the deputy marshal of the Korhal Revolutionary Army, was gathering documents from the maple wood desk into a safe. She then placed several gilded copies of The Prince, Geography of Koprulu, and Particle Physics into another personal case, all of which belonged to Augustus.

After the riot at the immigrant settlement on the main continent, Augustus visited the troops and wounded soldiers who had just been withdrawn from the front lines. For the past few years, the Revolutionary Army had been either fighting or on its way to fight. The soldiers were driven by their faith and had a strong fighting spirit, but they were still mortals after all, and Augustus's encouragement was crucial.

"We've been in Halsen for some time now." Augustus was focused on the Holographic Projection star map projected on the wall, which showed the various planets, moons, and asteroid belt of the Halsen System.

"In these days, we have joined the Protoss warriors in killing and driving out countless Garm Zerg, restoring order to Halsen on the brink of collapse, and saving millions of lives through our arrival," he said.

"Half of the cities and factories are able to resume operations, and parts of the Northern Hemisphere have entered the harvest season."

"It's time to retire gracefully." Kerrigan knew what Augustus was thinking; even without using her telepathic abilities to read his mind, she knew.

"The Swarm won't stop invading the Koprulu Sector, nor will they cease their thirst for genes and evolution, but at least we've managed to stop them in places like Altera, Vardona, and Halsen," Augustus.

"More people around the world have heard our acts of saving lives, helping the needy, and fighting the Swarm to protect humanity. More innocent people who have had enough of the Confederacy's oppression have heard our voices for the first time."

"Even after the Revolutionary Army leaves Halsen, the people here will remember our efforts on this planet to overthrow the corrupt regime and make people's lives better. When the Terran Confederacy regains control of Halsen, the oppressed people will remember us again," he said.

"The fate of ordinary people will no longer be controlled by the rulers of the Confederate Congress and the financial magnates; the people of the Koprulu Sector must be able to decide their own future."

"Well said, the truth will come out eventually." Kerrigan, picking up where Augustus off. "You haven't eaten for twenty hours. How about some toast with Halsen raspberries and mushroom sauce? There's also Antiga yak meat and Taradorn caviar in the kitchen."

"I'll just have some rations and water," Augustus said casually. "Leave the rest for the wounded. I'm not one of those nobles."

"But you are a nobleman, a nobleman of Korhal IV," Kerrigan said. "I believe only you deserve to be called a true nobleman. The nobles of Tarsonis are not even worth a toe of yours."

"They are nothing but the remnants of the old era that ruled this world, dust that must be swept away." Augustus turned around and reached out to close the wooden Holographic Projection projector on the table.

As Augustus packed up the projector and handed it to Kerrigan, he kissed her smooth forehead and took her soft but somewhat rough hand in his. "Your hands and feet are cold, darling. You shouldn't always focus on me and neglect yourself."

Augustus was unaware that his words had made Kerrigan's eyes light up with love; perhaps this woman was more starved for love than he had imagined.

"Marshal, the spaceship is ready." Faraday Faraday's voice rang out, followed by the deafening roar of the transport ship's engines.

The spaceship landed directly on the lawn outside the Town Hall, and Augustus didn't care whether the transport ship's deceleration thrusters would blacken the grass and the large slabs of marble. These were issues that the next high-ranking local official should be concerned with, and maintaining this mansion-like Town Hall complex would require a huge amount of money based solely on fiscal revenue.

Augustus lowered his hand from Kerrigan's cheek, pushed open the office door, and saw Faraday, the captain of the guard, dressed in Power Armor.

"Tell the soldiers to pack up everything and take it with them when they evacuate. Don't leave any Confederacy documents, tax records, or anything else of value to the Confederacy," Augustus instructed Faraday.

"If I could, I'd really like to take all those luxury cars from the underground garage. Some of them were even manufactured in Moria's luxury car factory. The shipping costs alone would be enough for us to build a dozen new apartment buildings in Antiga."

"No problem," Faraday nodded, taking several locked carry-on cases from Kerrigan. "We found what's supposedly a transport ship from the Guild Wars in a hangar at Confederacy military base; enough to carry away anything valuable."

As Faraday spoke, he solemnly handed the box in his hand to several guards beside him—even though it might only contain a few books or some other trinkets that the marshal liked.

Even today, Augustus still writes to his mother, sister Dorothy, and nephew Valerian, making a portable personal terminal essential. Arcturus occasionally receives letters from his brother, and to his relief, his father Angus never receives any from Augustus; Angus is merely a marginal figure and the man mentioned only occasionally.

"Any good stuff falling into the hands of the Confederacy is a waste." Augustus said, hands on his hips. "For the first time, I think that bastard Tychus was right, even though at the time he was just trying to find an excuse for his looting of the Confederacy armory."

"How do you know he couldn't have gotten anything out of our warehouses?" Kerrigan to Augustus. "He'll also say that only old Tychus would use the supplies meant for the revolution for good."

"Tychus always wanted to make a fortune and then retire, but as long as I was in charge of the Revolutionary Army and keeping an eye on him, he wouldn't dare to do anything," Augustus shook his head and said, "You can't expect Tychus to have a change of heart."

"So I always tell him, 'Look, we're so poor we've pawned our pants. If I find a bag of flour or a cigarette missing from the warehouse, I'll hold you responsible. Because there are no rats or thieves in the Revolutionary Army's warehouse,'" he said.

"If I find out a gun is missing, I'll rip your head off."

As Augustus spoke, he, Kerrigan, and Faraday walked to the lawn outside and boarded a gold and red painted ordinary transport ship, which then took off and left.

Through the observation windows of the transport ship, the Dorian Administrative District gradually receded into the distance, and the roads that were once deserted were gradually filled with a constant stream of vehicles. Refugee camps outside the city had sprung up thanks to the efforts of the Revolutionary Army's engineering corps, and were filled with homeless people.

When the Revolutionary Army left, they also took with them the local militia members who had supported them in the past and their families, so that they would not be persecuted if the Terran Confederacy came to punish them.

The people of the Dorian Administrative District did not bid farewell to the departing Revolutionary Army, because Augustus had not said when they would leave Halsen. Before leaving, the Revolutionary Army left enough food and water for the people in the refugee camp for two weeks, enough to sustain them until the arrival of the Confederacy army.

Even if the Confederacy doesn't care about these people's lives, as long as they are willing to take action, the farmland of Halsen shouldn't cause people to starve to death due to shortages of resources like in the desolate colonial world.

The transport ship carrying Augustus, Kerrigan, and others ascended vertically into the air, joining the massive, heavily armed Revolutionary Army Fleets. The Revolutionary Army Fleets was still expanding; every time they reached a planet surrounded by the Swarm, new refugee ships and caravans would join them, seeking the protection of this Great Fleet.

Meanwhile, the Revolutionary Army Fleets's battlecruiser docks can also produce a small number of Wraith and small spaceships. With sufficient resources, the mobile base gifted to Augustus by the Umojan Protectorate can also produce frigates and transport ships.

Inside the observation window of the transport ship, the Revolutionary Army Fleets up in a row almost blocked out the light of the stars. The Fleets, in synchronous orbit, was constantly traveling at high speed, and the lights of the twenty battlecruisers and thousands of aircraft resembled the ever-burning lights of a city.

Compared to the mountain-like grandeur of the Norad II, the transport ship was negligible in size. When Augustus stepped onto the Norad II's dock deck, Lieutenant Colonel Pulaier, who had served as the Confederacy - Sara and was now the commander of the Revolutionary Army 051st Division, was waiting for him there.

Within the Revolutionary Army, those with the highest numbers were units formed during the Korhal Wars of Independence, and they could now be considered a battle-hardened force. Pulaier's division was entirely composed of Cha Sara and Ma Sara people; it was a newly formed division, but its combat effectiveness was already comparable to the first few divisions formed by the Korhal people.

The people of Ma Sara are a people who admire the spirit of cowboys and warriors. Their ancestors were the first soldiers and miners to come to this planet to mine minerals, while the people of Cha Sara are descendants of convicts and early colonists.

After the Swarm and Protoss completely destroyed the Sara Twins, the people of the planet swore revenge. Under the wise and charismatic leadership of former Governor Magna Sara, Pulaier, the division quickly became a highly cohesive and valiant army.

However, this army hates the Protoss even more than the Zerg. They always believe that the Protoss destroyed their home, and this view has not changed in the slightest despite Tassadar's friendly gestures towards the Revolutionary Army.

"Governor, how have you been?" Augustus descended the gangway of the transport ship, surrounded by Kerrigan and Faraday.

"I have learned that your troops performed quite bravely in Altera, Vardona, and Halsen," he said with a smile to Pulaier, who stood upright with his hands behind his back.

To this day, almost everyone in the Revolutionary Army acknowledges that Pulaier's military talent is exceptional, standing out even among an army teeming with capable generals. However, Pulaier himself has always believed that his administrative abilities far surpass his military command skills, a tenacity that is astounding.

"Someone reported to me that Pulaier's division killed several times more insects than any other division; only the Guard Division and the Second Division could match them," Augustus continued. "He'd never seen anyone like them, able to refuse the Protoss's help and destroy an entire secondary hive before allies arrived."

"Your military rank was earned entirely through your meritorious service."

"I thought you didn't like our practice of excluding Protoss allies." Pulaier shrugged. "...I've already had a hard time just trying to keep my soldiers from firing on the Protoss army."

"The Mar- Sara people are alright, but the Cha- Sara people, who are unaware of the truth, witnessed their once lush and beautiful homeland being burned to ashes by the Protoss Fleets. Even now, the trauma from that time still torments the people there."

Pulaier was not a Mar- Sara native; he had only served as governor for a few days, but he still considered them his people.

"Revenge—yes, how can we not seek revenge?" Augustus nodded after a moment of silence. "Hatred can ignite fighting spirit, turning a coward into a raging warrior."

"One day, humanity will stand tall among the Sea of Stars, and all those who have harmed us will pay with their blood."

"It was the Protoss Empire Conclave that ordered the destruction of Sara and Sara, and Tassadar was merely the executor of that order," Kerrigan said at this point.

"If it weren't for Tassadar, Antiga would have been the next victim."

"I think I can understand." Pulaier's dark eyes reflected the lights of the dock. "Interstellar wars are not changed by the will of any one person, and the destruction of a planet is not entirely the fault of the person who gave the order. We are all insignificant, as humble as ants."

"I will tell my men that they should seek revenge against the Protoss Conclave."

"They have absolutely no idea what the Protoss Conclave is," Augustus.

"That's not hard to understand. The Revolutionary Army knows that the Confederate Congress deserves to die, and the Conclave feels the same way," Pulaier said. "You may not know how much the people of the Sara System hate the Protoss. Apart from killing a few more bugs, they're always thinking about how to drop nuclear bombs on Protoss planets."

"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth," he Augustus. "That's what you said."

"To apply what you've learned," Augustus shrugged.

"But it's best not to do that—unless absolutely necessary."

"That depends on how you define 'last resort'," Pulaier said, mimicking Augustus's gesture.

"The Confederacy Fleets has entered. It's the Crimson Squadron and the Gamma Squadron, with approximately seventeen battlecruisers." At that moment, an alarm sounded in Augustus's ears.

"They've finally arrived," Pulaier said.

"We really have a lot of face," Augustus sighed.

"Augustus, what are your instructions?" Lieutenant General Jim Raynor ' voice came through.

"Avoid war," Augustus. "Jimmy, let's leave immediately, so our old friends in the Confederacy won't have to rack their brains trying to figure out how to entertain us."

"All Fleets... Good heavens, the Confederacy has opened fire! They've shelled a space station full of refugees!" Raynor, who was on the bridge of the Hyperion, suddenly slammed his fist on the control panel.

"They are still attacking refugee boats and supply ships!"

"Tell them that those are all civilians." Augustus's expression suddenly turned cold.

"It won't work," Raynor said.

"My father said it's called 'better to kill a thousand innocent people than let one guilty person go free.' They suspect there are our people among them—or rather, they don't care about the lives of civilians at all!"
