"Itachi-sama!"
In the spacious, brightly lit room, Lin Feng opened his heavy eyelids. The figure standing beside his bed made him freeze for a moment, then he cried out in shock.
"Sasuke, you're awake?"
Uchiha Itachi, dressed in black, saw Sasuke open his eyes and immediately spoke with delight.
"It really is Itachi-sama!"
"Itachi-sama, hurry and give me your autograph! I admire you so much, I love you so much!"
Ignoring the way Itachi had addressed him, Lin Feng threw his arms around Itachi and shouted excitedly, without even wondering whether he was dreaming.
Of course, any other Naruto fan would have been just as excited. After all, Uchiha Itachi was one of the most popular characters in Naruto.
Some of Itachi's fans even cried, "I'll never regret loving Itachi; he's the only man I'll ever worship in this life!" That showed just how much they adored him.
"Itachi-sama?"
"Heh... Sasuke, isn't that a strange way to address your big brother?"
Looking at Sasuke holding him tightly, Uchiha Itachi didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
"Sasuke?"
When Itachi called him Sasuke again, Lin Feng's head suddenly cleared a little. He let go of Itachi and looked around in confusion.
Then, seeing his reflection in the mirror on the table, Lin Feng's expression changed dramatically as realization dawned.
No one knew that Lin Feng was reeling with shock inside.
"I'm thirteen. Why am I so short? And isn't this what Sasuke looked like?"
"How did I get here? Wasn't I taking a nap in the dorm at Lushi No. 1 High School?"

They were Sasuke and Itachi's parents, Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Mikoto.
Looking at Uchiha Mikoto's warm smile, Lin Feng's nose reddened and his eyes grew misty. Back in his old world on Earth, the classmates who bullied him had always called him a "bastard with no mom or dad!" But now, in the world of Naruto, he would never have to hear those painful words again!
"Dad, Mom..."
Lin Feng wiped his eyes with the back of his hand, stared at the two people before him, and called out in a trembling voice.
Back in his world on Earth, he could only call out to them in his dreams, and even then he was speaking to two blurry figures. After all, he had never seen his biological parents.
"Sasuke, I'll make your favorite eggplant and bonito rice balls for dinner."
"I'm sure you'll be better soon!"
Seeing Sasuke looking so pitiful, Uchiha Mikoto thought he was still sick. She came over, pulled him into her arms, and comforted him.
"Sasuke only has a cold. There's no need to coddle him so much, is there?"
Seeing his wife fuss over him, Uchiha Fugaku folded his arms across his chest and muttered.
"Heh... Sasuke had a high fever this morning, and you were the most worried of all. If Itachi hadn't stayed behind to look after him, you would probably have taken him to the hospital."
Uchiha Mikoto shook her head and chuckled at her husband's muttering.
Just like Uchiha Fugaku in the Naruto anime, he was a strict father who rarely showed his feelings. He seemed to favor his older son, Uchiha Itachi, but in truth, he loved both his sons equally and cared deeply for Sasuke as well.
Exposed by his wife, Uchiha Fugaku instantly looked a little awkward. He cleared his throat a few times, then replied, "I was just worried Sasuke would fall behind in his Ninja Academy studies!"
At Uchiha Fugaku's unconvincing explanation, Uchiha Mikoto and Itachi laughed together.
So this was family?
Having been an orphan and never experienced a family atmosphere, Lin Feng felt a little dazed as he listened to them talking about him.

Before Lin Feng's inner laughter had even faded, the thought suddenly came to him, and a cold gleam filled his eyes.

"As long as I'm alive in this ninja world, I won't let anyone hurt my family!"
Even if the events from the Naruto anime were set to happen to Lin Feng, that didn't mean they couldn't be changed.
