Uchiha Style - Gale Sword!

"Sasuke, your Body Flicker speed in taijutsu is so fast that it's almost catching up to my ninjutsu-based Body Flicker!"

Taking a deep breath, Shisui sighed as he announced the result.

Of course, this was still with Sasuke wearing his weighted belt; if he were to remove the weight, his speed might be even more terrifying.

Sasuke was not surprised by this result. In the Naruto anime, Sasuke was naturally an agility-type ninja, and after half a year of grueling practice on his Body Flicker, it was only natural that he would earn such high praise from Shisui.

"Now that I've mastered the Body Flicker, Shisui, teach me a set of Nintaijutsu. I've realized that in combat, I lack that kind of offensive method!"

Under normal circumstances, performing ninjutsu requires refining chakra and then weaving hand signs. Taijutsu, on the other hand, requires neither refining chakra nor hand signs.

The characteristic of Nintaijutsu is that it requires the refinement of chakra but does not require hand signs—though there are exceptions for certain specialized techniques.

Sasuke said with a grin, "Shisui is an elite ninja, so you must know plenty of Nintaijutsu."

"You guy, don't try to butter me up with those nice words."

Shisui was left between laughter and tears, shaking his head helplessly.

After a brief silence, Shisui suddenly drew the katana from his back and said softly, "Sasuke, combined with your Body Flicker, I think the Uchiha Style: Gale Sword is a Nintaijutsu well-suited for you."

"Uchiha Style: Gale Sword? That sounds impressive!"

Sasuke said, filled with anticipation.

Shisui didn't respond. With a stomp of his feet, his figure instantly appeared in mid-air, and then he swung his katana with great force toward a giant tree from a distance.

"Why didn't Shisui hit it?"

Seeing that Shisui's katana was still some distance away from the tree, Sasuke asked, puzzled.

"BOOM!"

Just as Sasuke's voice faded, a thunderous explosion rang out. Under his gaze, a massive blade of flame instantly manifested at the tip of the katana, cleaving the giant tree into charcoal.

"This..."

Staring at the charred, smoking tree, Sasuke swallowed hard, shocked. "That's incredible!"

"How about it? Want to learn this move?"

Looking at the stunned Sasuke, Shisui chuckled as he landed back on the ground.

"Of course I want to learn it!"

Hearing this, Sasuke nodded excitedly. Although the Gale Sword wasn't a standard ninjutsu, its power was likely on par with an A-rank technique.

"The key to the Gale Sword lies in channeling fire-attribute chakra into the blade, then using the sword to unleash a Fire Release that forms a massive blade of flame." Explaining slowly, Shisui said with a smile, "The Gale Sword has a wide attack range. If you use the Body Flicker to ambush an enemy and follow up with this move, it's very hard for them to dodge."

"It's truly an excellent Nintaijutsu; I must master it!"

After hearing Shisui's explanation, Sasuke was deeply moved and couldn't wait to master the Gale Sword immediately.

"Then start your training!"

Handing his katana to Sasuke, Shisui smiled.

Nodding slightly, Sasuke knew in his heart that nothing worth having comes easily.

Casting aside his emotions, Sasuke gradually calmed his mind. A moment later, he refined his fire-attribute chakra and launched himself into the air once more to swing with all his might.

Although the second attempt also failed, having gained experience from the first, the flames on Sasuke's katana were much stronger.

Seeing that he had made some progress, Sasuke practiced even harder. If he failed, he simply continued, without a single complaint!

Time slipped away quietly in the training field. Since Sasuke had entered his training state, Shisui hadn't disturbed him once, which provided Sasuke with an extremely quiet environment to practice.

"Brother... thank you!"

Gazing at Itachi's warm smile, Sasuke stepped forward quickly and hugged him tightly, his voice trembling as he spoke.

If not for Itachi, Sasuke might have already died.

"Everything is in the past now. No matter what difficulties you encounter in the future, I will always protect you!"

Patting Sasuke on the shoulder, Itachi smiled gently.

"Mm."

Sasuke nodded happily.

Taking the Anbu sword from his back, Itachi suddenly said, "Sasuke, the Nintaijutsu you are practicing requires a blade. I'm giving this sword to you."

Itachi had witnessed Sasuke practicing the Uchiha Style: Gale Sword earlier. Knowing that the katana currently in Sasuke's hands belonged to Shisui, he decided to gift his own blade to his brother.

"No, how could I take your sword!"

Sasuke shook his head, refusing immediately.

Anbu missions were often dangerous, and a sidearm was vital to an operative; at times, it could play a decisive role in a life-or-death battle.

"Sasuke, it's alright, just take it with peace of mind. Itachi can always request a new blade from the Anbu at any time!"

Before Itachi could respond, Shisui walked over and chuckled.

In truth, it wouldn't have mattered if Itachi hadn't given him the sword, as Shisui had originally intended to give Sasuke his own katana once his training was complete.

"Brother, is that true?"

After hearing Shisui's words, Sasuke turned his gaze toward Itachi and asked.

"Yes!"

With a soft smile on his face, Itachi nodded.

"Hehe, then let's consider this sword my birthday gift from you this year!"

Returning the katana to Shisui, Sasuke took the blade from Itachi's hand and chuckled.

Shisui and Itachi exchanged a glance, and both began to laugh.

(The Uchiha Style: Gale Sword is not something I made up; those who have played Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will know this move. It was designed by Masashi Kishimoto specifically for Shisui.
