In the conference room, every senior official listened intently to Nawaki's analysis. Ever since Konoha's resounding victory in the last great war, Skywalker had become the Shinobi World's universally acknowledged greatest sage. Thus, his remark about merely offering a humble suggestion was taken as modesty; no one took it seriously.

"According to intelligence returned by the Anbu, after Sunagakure discovered that the Third Kazekage had vanished, the village fell into complete chaos. Soon afterward, the entire village was placed under lockdown by order of the two advisors, and no further news has emerged.

"Under normal circumstances, they should select a successor to the Kazekage position as quickly as possible and stabilize the situation first.

"However, Sunagakure's current political situation is extremely delicate. Because the Third Kazekage's personality changed drastically over the past few years, the two advisors' authority expanded greatly, to the point where they nearly controlled Sunagakure's entire government. Meanwhile, Rasa, as the heir, was in an absolute disadvantage in both reputation and strength. This had long created conflict between the two sides. More subtly, the Third Kazekage disappeared within Sunagakure itself, so both sides had reason to suspect the other of being the culprit."

After Nawaki's brief explanation, Konoha's senior officials suddenly saw the light and gained a clear understanding of Sunagakure's current situation. However, those in power, such as the Third Hokage, considered even more. Sunagakure's predicament easily reminded them of Konoha itself. After the Second Hokage's death, hadn't they faced a remarkably similar situation? Konoha had nearly fallen into internal turmoil because of a struggle for power.

The Third Hokage would never allow such a crisis to happen again. This only strengthened his resolve to pass on his position. Only by doing so could he ensure a smooth transition and eliminate every hidden danger.
