After learning of the Sunagakure Shinobi Army's current predicament, Pakura's face turned pale and her gaze wandered. The fireballs that had been circling around her gradually came to a stop. Her mind was in turmoil. She had thought that the sacrifice of herself and her companions would preserve some of Sunagakure's strength, but now it seemed that Rasa's breakout plan was simply leading the entire army to its death. Just as he had said, it was all utterly meaningless!
Pakura desperately tried to think of a way to salvage the situation, but the more she thought, the more panicked and confused she became. Only now did she understand Skywalker's terror. It was a despair like a desert tornado—impossible to avoid, impossible to escape.
"How about it? Have you made up your mind?" Sensing Pakura's chaotic emotions, Nawaki took the opportunity to persuade her. "Rather than resisting to the bitter end, why not preserve some strength for Sunagakure? Konoha isn't your only enemy!"
Pakura had already begun to waver, but when she saw the young man's expression, as though victory was already in his grasp and everything was under his control, a surge of inexplicable anger rose within her. So what if Skywalker is amazing? I refuse to give him what he wants!
Pakura shook her head with a resolute expression. "I can't control what others do, but I have long been prepared to die in battle. I will not become a bargaining chip, much less defect to Konoha! Skywalker, let's fight!"
As soon as Pakura finished speaking, her aura surged. The Scorch Release fireballs began revolving rapidly around her, and without giving Nawaki a chance to respond, she immediately launched her attack.
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh..."
Under Pakura's control, the fireballs shot toward Nawaki's face, leaving brilliant trails through the air.
