Jiraiya suddenly cried out, "Hold your breath!" Although Naruto and the others had no idea why, they hurriedly stopped breathing. Jiraiya formed hand seals and said, "Sealing: Isolation Technique." He tapped each of them once, then finally tapped himself. "All right, you can breathe now." With that, he let out a heavy breath, and everyone else exhaled too.

Hinata asked curiously, "Um, Lord Jiraiya, what just happened?"

Over the course of their journey, Jiraiya had grown so fond of this innocent girl, whose thoughts revolved entirely around Naruto, that his affection for her had almost surpassed his affection for Naruto himself. He smiled. "Now, little Hinata, you don't have to keep calling me 'Lord.' Since you're this little rascal's girlfriend, just call me Master Jiraiya, the same as he does. Hahahaha!"

Hearing Jiraiya tell her to call him Master Jiraiya gave Hinata the feeling that she had earned the approval of her boyfriend's family. Blushing shyly, she nevertheless murmured, "Master Jiraiya." The sight of her bashful expression sent Jiraiya into another fit of laughter.

Naruto couldn't stand watching any longer. "That's enough, Pervy Sage," he said impatiently. "Stop teasing Hinata and tell us what's going on. Why were you so nervous when you told us to hold our breath?"

Jiraiya gave Naruto a bored look. "You're no fun at all. I really don't know how someone like you manages to attract girls. You're just as boring as Orochimaru."

A vein bulged on Naruto's forehead. "Cut the chatter and answer my question! You shameless, perverted old man!"

Jiraiya grew angry too. "Hey, you little brat! Is that any way to speak to your master? You ungrateful disciple!"

Naruto shot back, "Well, who told you to act like such a shameless old pervert?"

Seeing them start arguing, Hinata hurriedly tried to intervene.
