Naruto led Jiraiya and the others to the foot of the altar. He reached out and pressed a brick, and a stone door immediately opened. Young Naruto exclaimed in surprise, "There's even a hidden mechanism?"
Young Sasuke said helplessly, "It would be stranger if an altar this big didn't have one. Why do you always make such a fuss?"

Young Naruto asked curiously, "Uh, Sasuke, are you saying we're in a maze? But that doesn't make sense. If it were a maze, there should be branching paths. We've only seen this one passage the whole way. What's going on?"
Jiraiya and Naruto wanted to know the answer to Young Naruto's question too. Young Sasuke said, "No, I don't mean a maze. There really is only one path, but the space here is what's stopping us."
