Naruto followed Sasuke out onto the sea, where they happened upon Ao and Chojuro searching back and forth across the surface. Ao, who possessed the White Eye, spotted them immediately and brought Chojuro over. "Sasuke Uchiha, you're out. Did you find the Fifth Mizukage? Why are you with Naruto Uzumaki?" Ao looked at Naruto in confusion.
Sasuke replied, "We've found the Fifth Mizukage. She's receiving the Diamond Dragon's inheritance now, and it may take a day. Just stay here and keep watch without worrying. Naruto and I have something urgent to attend to. As for everything else, she'll explain it all herself once she comes out. Naruto, let's go." With that, Sasuke left first.
Chojuro wanted to ask more, but Ao stopped him. Though he looked anxious, he held himself back. Naruto smiled and tossed Ao a kunai. "Keep this safe. Sasuke and I will be leaving now." Then he hurried after Sasuke.
Once Naruto and Sasuke were far away, Chojuro asked in confusion, "Ao, I don't understand why you stopped me. Don't you want to know where the Fifth Mizukage is?"
Ao looked at Chojuro. "Of course I do, but Sasuke Uchiha clearly wasn't going to tell us. With Naruto Uzumaki appearing as well, I don't think this is a simple matter. Since Sasuke Uchiha said Lady Mizukage needs a day before she can come out, we should just wait here patiently. I believe we'll have all our answers once she emerges. So, Chojuro, sometimes you need to learn to wait quietly. You're still too impatient."
Chojuro bowed to Ao. "I'm very sorry. I was too impatient, and I'll make sure to correct that. Thank you for your guidance."
Naruto and Sasuke returned to the border of the Land of Water. The demonized ninjas had yet to disperse
