After Naruto and Sasuke received their Test Forms, they were teleported back to the academy's Testing Platform. Seeing them return, Crevito hurried over and asked, "How did it go? Did you pass?"
Sasuke remained as icy and aloof as ever. Naruto smiled slightly and smoothed things over. "Well, we don't actually know whether we passed. We just got an S in all three categories, so I think we probably did." Naruto held up his Test Form for Crevito to see.
When Crevito saw that Naruto's and Sasuke's Test Forms both had three S grades, he was too stunned to speak. He could only stare blankly at the form in Naruto's hand.
Surprised by Crevito's reaction, Naruto glanced at his Test Form and thought, No way. Sasuke and I both got S grades. Could S-Rank be really low in this world?
With that thought, Naruto asked uncertainly, "Crevito, what's wrong? Did Sasuke and I do really badly?" Sasuke grew concerned as well, his eyes fixed on Crevito.
Only when Crevito noticed both of them staring at him did he snap out of it. "No, no, no! Not at all! You did incredibly well. I was just stunned for a moment. You know, even Willy, the academy's most gifted upperclassman, only got two S grades back then, and his last grade was just an A-Rank. But he doesn't even come close to you and Sasuke. Three S grades! My heavens, are you Heaven's Bastards? How can you be this outrageously talented?"
Crevito's exclamation drew the attention of the nearby applicants, and Naruto and Sasuke soon became the focus of everyone there. Even the old man overseeing the tests couldn't help walking over. When he saw that their Test Forms really did have three S grades each, he too froze for a moment.
