With a simple horizontal slash, Naruto sent a wind blade flying from the Fūjin Sword, instantly cutting down a dozen monsters. But there were so many that even if he and Sasuke killed them as fast as they could, they could never clear them all out. A dark, endless mass still filled their view.

Seeing his stance, Naruto knew Sasuke was about to do something reckless. He hurriedly said, "Hey, Sasuke, don't get carried away and do something stupid. If you use a wide-area attack, the Elven Forest will be finished too."
Sasuke slowly cut off the flow of power to his Rinnegan and turned to Naruto. "Then what do you suggest? The two of us can't possibly kill all these monsters."
Naruto was immediately at a loss for words. He had no idea what to do either. A wide-area attack, whether True Planetary Devastation or Super Shinra Tensei, could easily wipe out every monster here, but the Elven Forest would be destroyed along with them. Yet without a wide-area attack, who knew how long it would take to kill them one by one? Even if they eventually killed them all, the monsters would have destroyed the Elven Forest long before then.
