Wood Release, too. If I could raise my Kekkei Genkai, Adamantine Sealing Chains, to its highest level, wouldn't that mean my chains would become the ones the God Tree uses to control and seal Tailed Beast Chakra? If that's true, what kind of ability would that be?"
Naruto's heart brimmed with curiosity and excitement. Although he had both the White Eye and the Rinnegan, neither truly belonged to him. His Rinnegan came from Sasuke's bloodline, while his White Eye came from devouring the Otsutsuki Prince, Otsutsuki Koshiki. Ultimately, both belonged to someone else, not him. Adamantine Sealing Chains were different. They were the Kekkei Genkai he had been born with, and only what was truly his would suit him best.
Naruto had once greedily aspired to become a being like the Sage of Six Paths. After gaining the White Eye, he had even fantasized about becoming Kaguya. But he no longer pursued that goal. Even if he became the Sage of Six Paths or Kaguya, he would never match the Sage of Six Paths, much less Kaguya. That was why, after receiving Ao Ming's cultivation technique, Naruto had abandoned that idea and devoted himself to practicing the Demon Dragon Nine Transformations. Sasuke had done the same, as Naruto knew.
But Sasuke had not abandoned the Rinnegan, and Naruto had to admit that Sasuke was considerably better at using it than he was. The difference was clear from Sasuke's ability to use Indra's Arrow and Spatial Ability.
