Once they had finished discussing business, Jiraiya said casually, "Old man, since I'm staying in Konoha, leave Naruto to me for the next month. It'll give me a chance to fulfill my duties as his master and give the brat some proper training."

The Third Hokage said indifferently, "He's your disciple. How you teach him is your business, not mine. Make whatever arrangements you like."

Jiraiya was delighted. You little brat, how dare you set me up like that? Just wait until I get my hands on you. Hmph, as your master, I'll teach you to respect your elders-and show you what happens when you try to screw me over.

Jiraiya smiled. "Well, if that's everything, I'll be off, old man."

The Third Hokage waved a hand. "Go on."

Jiraiya left with a Body Flicker Technique. After he was gone, the Third Hokage murmured, "Heh, Jiraiya, teaching Naruto a lesson might not be so easy. Unless you go all out, you might end up getting hurt yourself. Hahaha."

Early the next morning, Naruto woke up and carefully moved Karin off his body. He got out of bed, tucked the blanket around her, and went out. Before leaving, he muttered, "Why is Karin's sleepwalking getting worse and worse?" His good and evil personalities and the Nine-Tails inside him immediately burst into laughter. They all knew what Karin was thinking, but none of them wanted to tell him.

Good Naruto asked the Nine-Tails curiously, "Kurama, the two of us aren't telling him because we want to watch him make a fool of himself. What's your reason?"

The Nine-Tails replied, "Nothing much. I enjoy it too. He's usually so clever, so why is he such an idiot about this sort of thing? I just can't figure it out, so I want to see
