Sasuke was genuinely surprised to see Kurama. He had never imagined that Minato would entrust Kurama to him.
Seeing Sasuke frozen in surprise, Minato smiled. "Surprised? It's really nothing. Having Kurama stay with me has become a burden, both for me and for him. Only by letting him go with you can he, you, and Naruto bring out your full strength."
After a moment's thought, Sasuke understood what Minato meant. Indeed, Kurama would be more useful with him than with Minato. He and Naruto were partners in battle, after all. They had grown up together, and no matter how powerful their enemy was, they always fought side by side.
The Yin Nine-Tails and Yang Nine-Tails were inseparably linked. With the Yin Nine-Tails, Sasuke and Naruto would be able to communicate mentally and know each other's thoughts. That would make fighting together much easier, and their strength would rise as well.

Seeing understanding dawn on Sasuke's face, Minato nodded approvingly. "All right, get familiar with Kurama's power first. With that, Minato left using the Body Flicker Technique.
Hanabi was still watching the two curiously when Minato suddenly vanished. When he reappeared, he was already standing in front of her, giving her quite a fright.
