Background / History

Lin Cheng is a transmigrator who awakens in the body of a five-year-old Yuki Clan child fleeing three Kirigakure genin in the Land of Water. His Super Skill Copy System grants him the combat memories of a dead Yuki jōnin, allowing him to reverse the pursuit immediately. The system then assigns him missions against the Kirigakure chūnin Luyuwan and jōnin Kongyoumaru; completing them doubles his chakra capacity and awakens his inherited Ice Release. 1 2 4

While evading Kirigakure, Lin Cheng uses Water Clones, false trails, and terrain to conceal his route. He heads toward the Kaguya Clan specifically to find Kimimaro, whom he considers the partner he has been searching for.
