Di Tian sets out with the super soul beasts to claim the descending Divine Artifact Dragon Slaying Saber, viewing it as a means to suppress human soul masters and unify the continent under spirit beast power. 35 169

When the artifact descends in the Extreme North, Di Tian reaches it ahead of the human contenders. Tang Chen prevents him from taking it by launching Titan Hammer, beginning the wider conflict between humans and spirit beasts. 170

Battle Against Lu Chen

Di Tian confronts Lu Chen during the struggle for the Dragon Slaying Saber. He counters Spatial Strangulation with the Black Dragon Sword and uses Dragon God Claw, but the battle reaches a stalemate after Lu Chen activates Titan Three Transformations. 172

Lu Chen subsequently defeats Di Tian alongside Qian Daoliu, Tang Chen, and the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King with Water Marsh Kingdom. Despite Lu Chen's demand that all factions submit or die, Di Tian remains unwilling to accept his rule. 176 180
