Tsunade laughed with an arrogant air.

Li Tong, who had been kicked into the lake, did not stand up. His head remained submerged, with only his back exposed above the water, looking exactly like a floating corpse.

"Eh?" Tsunade felt something was off and blinked. "He didn't choke to death, did he?" She took a step forward, intending to fish him out, but immediately stopped, eyes widening in astonishment.

Li Tong's body in the lake began to melt, rapidly transforming into a stream of water that merged with the lake itself.

"Water Clone! You! When? Impossible!" Tsunade was shocked and whipped her head around to scan her surroundings, but with her strength, she couldn't detect anything unusual.

"I've told you eight hundred times, I can smell the scent on you from eight hundred meters away." The real Li Tong walked out from behind the wooden hut, rubbing his nose as he spoke. "Can't you change your perfume? How are you supposed to go out on missions like this? If you tried to infiltrate an enemy ninja village to steal intelligence, you'd be discovered the moment you reached the gate, right?"

Li Tong was purely teasing Tsunade; just because he was sensitive to scents didn't mean others were.

"How could your Water Clone be so perfect?" Tsunade asked, feeling a bit unconvinced.

How embarrassing!

She had wanted to pull a sneak attack to mess with him, but ended up kicking a Water Clone and getting played instead.

"Because I'm a genius!" Li Tong spread his hands, stating it as a matter of course. This was, of course, nonsense; the reality was that his ninjutsu were obtained by consuming cards. The ninjutsu granted to him by the cards might not be the strongest or most profound, but their fundamental composition was absolutely perfect.

"You brat, you're getting cocky! Do you believe I'll beat you up?" Tsunade clenched her fist in a threat. The two hadn't known each other long, but they had become very familiar.

"Enough nonsense, my dear Lady Tsunade. Do you remember yesterday's bet? Come on! Teach me the Mystical Palm Technique." Li Tong walked over to Tsunade's side as he spoke.

"Shouldn't you teach me Hypnosis first? Hurry, hurry, teach me, teach me."

"Why should I teach you first?"

"Less talk!" Tsunade hooked her arm around Li Tong's neck and threatened, "If you don't teach me first, I'll suffocate you with my scent!" As she spoke, she tightened her grip, forcing Li Tong's head into her chest.

Perhaps because of Li Tong's young age, Tsunade didn't feel there was anything inappropriate about such an action.

"Mmph... I... I'll teach you... let go..." Li Tong struggled, his voice muffled.

"Hmph!" Tsunade let out a cold snort, wearing a victorious smile as she released him.

"Sigh!" Li Tong sighed and waved his hand. "Follow me."

He led Tsunade into the house. In the small living room, Li Tong first drew the curtains, then moved the table and chairs into the corner. The room, already dim with the curtains drawn, was even darker in the corner.

The two sat facing each other. Li Tong raised his hand, and the green pendant dangled from his palm.

That pendant again!

Tsunade instinctively checked her own person; it had truly been taken again. However, this time she didn't ask when he had taken it, merely muttering, "Thief!"

"Look here!" Li Tong adopted the demeanor of a teacher, looking very serious. "I told you before, Hypnosis is actually a form of mental guidance. To put it in detail, the human mind is very easily guided. For example, when a person listens to a song, if the song is sorrowful, the person will feel sorrow; if the song is grand and majestic, the person will feel their heart swell with excitement."

"As long as this guidance is utilized to the extreme, it is possible to make someone fall into a deep sleep, or even make them answer whatever is asked..."

"It sounds simple, but in reality, it is extremely difficult to master this kind of hypnosis. The initial stage of this technique has harsh restrictions regarding the space, lighting, temperature, scent, and the target being hypnotized..."

For the rest of the day, Li Tong did nothing else but teach Tsunade the basics of Hypnosis.

He was truly teaching her, though he felt indifferent about it. The execution of Hypnosis had too many limitations; even now that Li Tong had mastered the highest level, he couldn't guarantee a hundred percent success rate, as it required specific environmental and target conditions. Compared to this, the Sharingan of the Uchiha Clan was truly powerful, and there were other hypnotic genjutsu that were easier to execute successfully than the Hypnosis Li Tong had mastered.

Even the Mystical Palm Technique had the effect of causing people to fall asleep, which was much more direct than Hypnosis!

Of course, Hypnosis had an irreplaceable advantage: anyone could learn it, and anyone who learned it could use it without needing chakra!

But most of the time, this advantage was useless.

For the entire day, Li Tong lectured Tsunade on the theory. Tsunade was full of interest, didn't feel bored, and didn't demand immediate practice.

The sun set behind the mountains.

At dusk, the clouds on the horizon were like blood.

Thump, thump, thump!

"Hey!" Li Tong tapped the table, protesting loudly. "A whole day, a full day? I need to eat! I'm starving to death!" This was already Li Tong's fifth protest of the day.

Yes, he hadn't eaten all day.

Not only that, he hadn't eaten yesterday either.

With his body, which had undergone cruel tempering in Amegakure, not eating for a day wasn't a big problem, but this was already two days.

"Alright, alright, let's go eat, my treat!" Tsunade said with a smile, standing up and stretching. Her "surging" curves caused Li Tong's gaze to freeze for a brief moment.

Not long after.

In the forest, Li Tong and Tsunade walked side by side.

"You seem very free. Do you have nothing to do?" Li Tong asked.

"My last mission didn't end long ago. I estimate the next one won't be for at least ten days," Tsunade replied.

In the bustling commercial district.

Dusk was the busiest time in Konoha. People were everywhere, and Tsunade led Li Tong toward the restaurant she frequented.

"Lady Tsunade!"

"Lady Tsunade!"

"Lady Tsunade!"

Along the way, people frequently greeted Tsunade. They were at least Jonin; while those Chunin and Genin recognized her, they didn't dare speak to her and would even take a detour to avoid her.

Eyes fell upon Li Tong again and again.

They were all curious: who was this brat? He wasn't Tsunade's younger brother, Nawaki Senju, nor was he Kushina Uzumaki, who was very close to Tsunade. Who else of this age had such a close personal relationship with Tsunade that they could walk and chat in low voices?

No one recognized Li Tong.

This was because Li Tong was wearing sunglasses and hadn't encountered any "acquaintances" yet.

"Why wear these mirrors? Is it that interesting?" Tsunade suddenly reached out, snatched the sunglasses off Li Tong's face, and tried them on herself.

"Hey!" Li Tong tried to stop her, but it was already too late.

"Dual-Colored Eyes!"

"It's that Li Tong!"

Several ninjas who had been curious about Li Tong's identity let out exclamations, and the street immediately became even noisier.

"Li Tong? Is it him? Are you sure?"

"Wasn't he buried alive by Lady Tsunade? How is he walking with her?"

"Ah, what did Lady Tsunade do to him?"

"Shh! Keep it down, do you want to die?"

Buzz, buzz, buzz—it sounded like thousands of flies buzzing about.

Li Tong shot Tsunade a glance, his eyes filled with dissatisfaction.

A look of realization flashed in Tsunade's eyes; she finally understood why Li Tong wore sunglasses. She took them off and perched them on top of her head... with no intention of returning them to him.

Dead woman! Li Tong cursed silently in his heart.

Lewei Ramen, a restaurant with a small storefront and mediocre environment. When Tsunade led him into this noodle shop, Li Tong's heart actually resisted; he felt it was quite dirty, but he held back, said nothing, and bit the bullet as he followed her inside.

He didn't want to have any disagreements with Tsunade on the street, as that would only attract more attention.

After entering the shop, Li Tong's expression turned to one of surprise as he scanned the diners.

He was shocked!

The vast majority of the customers eating here were high-level ninjas! He spotted at least six elite Jonin, and there were even two whose reputations reached the peak of the Jonin level.

"Lady Tsunade!"

"Tsunade!"

"Come over here, want to join us?"

Another large group of ninjas greeted Tsunade. Some even called her by her first name, appearing quite familiar with her.

"You guys eat, we have things to discuss." Tsunade smiled at the familiar ninjas, gestured toward Li Tong, and led him to a seat in the back.

The two sat by the window and ordered two bowls of ramen and a few side dishes.

A buzzing sound of discussion filled the restaurant. Many people cast surprised glances at Li Tong. Of course, they knew who this Dual-Colored Eyes ninja was, and they had heard about Tsunade burying him alive. Although those familiar with Tsunade didn't believe she would commit such a heinous act, the fact that the two were eating noodles together was something they couldn't comprehend.

"After we finish eating, you should teach me the Mystical Palm Technique, right?" Li Tong said in a low voice.

"Mm!" Tsunade nodded, smiling strangely. "One day, don't forget our bet."

"I certainly won't forget." Li Tong felt a stir in his heart and added, "I'm just afraid you might go back on your word."

"Me?" Tsunade pointed at her own nose. "Do I look like that kind of person?"

"Yes!" Li Tong nodded very seriously.

Tsunade curled her lip and smiled. She tapped the table with her finger, stood up abruptly, and announced loudly, "I have an announcement to make!"

In unison, everyone in the restaurant looked at Tsunade. Some high-level ninjas even put down their chopsticks, looking as if they were prepared to listen carefully.

"This brat named Li Tong!" Tsunade pointed at Li Tong. "It's him. He made a bet with me that he could learn the A-rank medical ninjutsu, Mystical Palm Technique, within one day. If he succeeds, I will agree to anything he asks. That's it!"

In unison, all eyes turned back to Li Tong, all of them looking at him as if he were a lunatic.

"Is this brat crazy?"

"Does he have something wrong with his brain?"

After finishing, Tsunade sat back down and spread her hands toward Li Tong, looking as if to say, "Satisfied now?"

Li Tong also spread his hands toward Tsunade, raised an eyebrow, and said, "Perfect!"
