Background / History

Xiao Yi transmigrates from Earth after being electrocuted while watching anime. He is reborn in Sin City, near the ruins of Spirit Hall, ten thousand years after Tang San’s victory. His parents die early, but the Xiao Clan’s elders raise him without neglect or deprivation 1.

After awakening Twin Martial Souls, he chooses to cultivate the Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils first. Their adaptation to Douluo’s laws turns beast control into a Soul Ring acquisition method, allowing his contracted beasts and rings to develop alongside him. His great-uncle Xiao Zhan supports this choice and helps prepare his path toward Shrek Academy 1 2.

Behind that friendly manner, he is calculating. He reveals his Martial Soul’s potential to secure Shrek’s resources, plans beast acquisitions around bloodline evolution, and initially treats Tang Wutong’s attachment as a way to counter Tang San’s influence 9 12 13.

He is protective of those close to him and ruthless toward their attackers. He restores Huo Yutong’s severed limb, confronts Dai Huabin, and investigates Tian Meng’s intentions inside Huo Yutong’s consciousness.
