Background / History
Tang Wutong is Tang San’s daughter, sent from the God Realm to Douluo Continent on a mission. Tang San instructed her to disguise herself as a boy, approach Huo Yutong—the “Daughter of Luck”—and help turn her into a “Son of Luck” for the Tang Sect’s benefit. 4
She enters Shrek Academy under the alias Tang Wulin and is assigned to Dormitory 108 with Xiao Yi. Although she introduces herself as a level 24 Soul Master, Xiao Yi’s level 38 cultivation immediately forces her to restrain the rules and demands she had planned to impose on her roommate. 6
Her disguise is compromised in stages. Huo Yutong learns her gender through their Martial Soul Fusion Skill, while Xiao Yi realizes it after hearing Tang Wutong use her natural feminine voice. She later publicly resumes female attire and introduces herself by her real name. 30 36 39
Tang Wutong eventually reveals to Xiao Yi that she is the Sea God’s daughter and produces the Sea God’s Trident as proof. She states that she never intended to conceal her lineage from him. 78 103
At the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well, she learns that Tang San did not preserve the Tang Sect’s complete inheritance, including its strongest hidden weapons. This revelation leaves her confused and distressed over the sect’s decline. 109
Appearance
Tang Wutong is a striking girl with powder-blue hair and matching powder-blue eyes. While disguised as Tang Wulin, she presents as a handsome but distant boy; after revealing herself, she carries a more overtly elegant, goddess-like presence. 6 39
- Powder-blue hair and eyes. 6
- A crisp, naturally feminine voice. 30

- Has worn formal female outfits, including a white collared shirt, patterned tie, corset, and dark gradient skirt. 62

Personality
Tang Wutong begins as arrogant, spoiled, and openly dismissive of lower-realm authority. As the God Realm’s little princess, she is accustomed to indulgence and initially sees no reason to show respect even to powerful figures such as Mu En. 7 8
She is impulsive and sharp-tongued. Her confrontation with Zhou Yi escalates because she refuses to tolerate being called “trash,” even when Xiao Yi warns her that continuing will provoke a dangerous response. 8
Despite her pride, she is emotionally inexperienced and initially lacks genuine friends. Xiao Yi’s protection, patience, and willingness to listen lead her to accept him as her first true friend; over time, that attachment becomes romantic love. 11 41
Tang Wutong remains haughty around others but becomes notably shy, vulnerable, affectionate, and dependent around Xiao Yi. She is also possessive and jealous when she sees him close to Huo Yutong, Tang Ya, or other girls. 30 42 46 121
