Before he and Tang Xiao became famous, their grandfather Tang Chen entrusted them with delivering a letter to Bo Saixi on Sea God Island. Tang Chen was preparing to enter Slaughter City to pursue godhood, but the letter did not reveal his destination; instead, it promised that he would marry Bo Saixi upon returning from his God Test. When Xiao Wu's concealed Hundred-Thousand-Year soul beast aura was exposed and Tang San was threatened, Tang Hao revealed himself above Spirit City. He ordered Tang Xiao to protect Tang San and Xiao Wu and to avoid exposing the Clear Sky Sect, then attempted to sacrifice himself by using Ring Detonation and the Great Sumeru Hammer against Lin Nuo. 259

Tang Hao's final strike was intercepted and weakened by Bibi Dong, Yue Guan, and Gui Mei, but still broke through their defenses.
