Human-Society Infiltration

Xiao Wu entered human society after taking human form, driven by the murder of her mother and a desire to find talented humans she could cultivate into allies against Martial Soul Hall. She also hoped to experience the romance her mother had once known. Tang San became her preferred candidate because the natural scent of his Blue Silver Grass reminded her of the Star Dou Forest. 18 22

After secretly forming her first soul ring, Xiao Wu returned to Nuoding Academy and saw the aftermath of Tang San's fight with Lin Nuo. Lin Nuo's face, hair, and oppressive aura reminded her of the woman who killed her mother; overwhelmed by the memory, she attacked him with Waist Bow. 18 19

Tang San pulled her out of the path of Lin Nuo's Death Demon Scythe with Blue Silver Entangle. Xiao Wu was nearly killed, then recoiled at the foul smell of Tang San's Tyrant Flower ring and openly criticized Yu Xiaogang's choice of soul ring. 19 20

Although Lin Nuo denied any connection to her mother's killer, Xiao Wu remained suspicious. She nevertheless agreed to follow Yu Xiaogang's arrangements alongside Tang San, intending to use Tang San's potential for her eventual revenge. 20 21 22

Shrek Academy and Exposure Risk

The Sky Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape defended Life Lake and Xiao Wu's former home against invading human Title Douluo, regarding her as their beloved sister. 170 171

After the two soul beasts were defeated, Lin Nuo forced them to abandon self-destruction by threatening Xiao Wu's safety. They agreed to sacrifice themselves only after Lin Nuo swore not to harm her unless she actively sought death. 171 172

Daming and Er Ming ultimately sacrificed themselves to Lin Nuo. Their Hundred-Thousand-Year soul rings entered his Rakshasa Spider Emperor and Soul-Eater Spider Emperor respectively, while their left and right arm soul bones fused into him. 174

Loss of Daming and Er Ming

During the Soul Master Tournament, Xiao Wu was severely injured after shielding others from Dragon Whisker Needles, but Tang San extracted the needles and saved her life. While recovering, she sensed Daming and Er Ming's aura from Lin Nuo's Hundred-Thousand-Year soul rings and realized that her two younger brothers had died, leaving her feeling completely orphaned. 200

Xiao Wu asked Tang San to avenge Daming and Er Ming. Although Tang San initially wanted to return their soul bones to Life Lake, she urged him to absorb them after reclaiming them from Lin Nuo so that her brothers' power could continue protecting her through him. 200

When Tang San later entered the Star Dou Forest to obtain soul rings for his Clear Sky Hammer, Xiao Wu accompanied him to search for evidence of Daming and Er Ming's fate. Troubled by the killing of soul beasts, she asked Tang San whether all soul beasts deserved to die; he promised to hunt only evil soul beasts. 212

That promise was broken when Martial Soul Hall Worships coerced Tang San into killing and absorbing four Soft Bone Rabbits for his Clear Sky Hammer. Xiao Wu recognized that the rabbits were descendants of her own bloodline and blamed herself for failing to protect them. 213 214 216

Xiao Wu later reached the devastated Life Lake with Tang San and Tang Xiao. The destruction of her former home and the loss of her family left her heartbroken, though she gradually began emerging from her grief afterward. 217 223

During Shrek's match against the Star Luo Royal Team, Xiao Wu withstood Zhu Zhuyun's Hell Hundred Claws with Invincible Golden Body, but was thrown from the battle by a subsequent Hell Slash. Sacrifice in Spirit City

Following Tang Hao's death and the exposure of her identity, Bibi Dong ordered Xiao Wu's capture as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soft Bone Rabbit. Lin Nuo compounded the pressure by portraying those who protected her as traitors to humanity, while Tang San positioned himself before her despite the overwhelming strength of Martial Soul Hall. 259 262

Xiao Wu chose to sacrifice herself to protect Tang San and the sect behind him. She initially offered Bibi Dong her soul ring and spirit bone in exchange for their safety, but deliberately redirected the sacrifice to Lin Nuo instead. She reasoned that empowering Bibi Dong would strengthen Tang San's future enemy, while sacrificing to Tang San would provoke further retaliation against him. 263

Her sacrifice created a Hundred-Thousand-Year soul ring in the second ring slot of Lin Nuo's Soul-Eater Spider Emperor and produced a Hundred-Thousand-Year left leg spirit bone, which Lin Nuo stored rather than fused.
