Background / History

A century before the story, Bi Ji found the reincarnated Bai Tu as a newborn white fox and raised him at the Lake of Life. She fed him lingzhi to hasten his growth and treated him as a spoiled mascot, caring for his daily needs throughout that period. 1 2

When Bai Tu crossed the ten-thousand-year threshold, Bi Ji was automatically invited with him into the Goddess Chat Group. Initially suspecting the group was an illusion, she nonetheless remained alert to Bai Tu's safety and later became a consistent intermediary between the chat group and the Star Dou Great Forest. 1 2

After Bai Tu revealed his Copy, Division, and reproductive talents, Bi Ji brought him to Gu Yuena and continued to serve Gu Yuena's orders. She and Zi Ji were assigned to guard the sealed Sky Dream Ice Silkworm while Gu Yuena personally guided Bai Tu's transformation and cultivation. 2 5

When Gu Yuena and Bai Tu entered the human world, Bi Ji accompanied them as an attendant. She adapted to their cover identities by addressing Gu Yuena as “Miss” and Bai Tu as “Young Master Bai.” 15 19

Bi Ji is a gentle woman with cyan-green hair. In her soul beast identity, she is an Emerald Swan. 1 10

Personality

Bi Ji is compassionate, patient, and strongly protective of Bai Tu. Even when he behaves provocatively or recklessly, she responds as his caretaker, coaxing him rather than abandoning him. 1 2

She is dutiful toward Gu Yuena and quick to carry out orders, but remains considerate toward others. When Ah Yin sought help in the chat group, Bi Ji relayed Gu Yuena's arrangements and reassured her not to fear high-level soul beasts. 5 12

Although initially uneasy about Bai Tu and Gu Yuena's relationship, Bi Ji adapts to changing circumstances and continues supporting both of them. 19 20

She assists Gu Yuena's plan to cultivate Bai Tu into a hundred-thousand-year soul beast, remaining behind with Zi Ji to guard the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm while Gu Yuena handles Bai Tu's transformation. 5

Bi Ji joins the group alongside Bai Tu and becomes one of its soul beast representatives. She clarifies the position of sea soul beasts, welcomes or advises other members, and receives Bai Tu's soul-ring-enhancement red packet. 1 12 16
