Nature and Conditions

The God Realm and Mortal Realm are parallel worlds. Ascension requires the approval of the realm's enforcers and strength no weaker than a God-level expert; inheriting a divinity or divine artifact is presented as a path to qualify for entry 169.

Its Soul Power is described as tens of millions of times denser than that of the Mortal Realm, supporting a far greater population of gods and higher-ranked experts 169. Gods who enter the realm become immortal in the sense that they do not die of old age, though they can still be slain by other beings 169.

Life in the realm is dangerous despite its spiritual abundance: major conflicts can kill hundreds or thousands of God-level experts, and mortals who ascend without divine power risk becoming slaves rather than gaining status 268.

Three Great Enforcers

The realm is governed by three great law enforcers. They can judge divine beings, command large forces, and require all God-level experts to submit to their authority 204.

The Enforcement Platform is an ancient judicial structure that operates independently even of the realm's enforcers. Once a prisoner enters it, interference is forbidden and the outcome is declared to be life or death 138.

Lin Xiao is bound there by lightning-charged chains after being accused of violating God Realm law 138. The platform resists the Asura God King's intervention and injures those attempting to protect Lin Xiao, until a mysterious figure destroys its barrier and chains; following this intervention, the platform allows the matter to end 139.

Regions

God Demon Continent

The northern region of the God Realm is known as the God Demon Continent. It is inhabited by demons, evil gods, and powerful soul beasts, including beings capable of ruling entire territories 180.

The northern lands are described as icy and unsuitable for the Four Divine Beasts, who seek expansion into the spiritually rich central God Realm 181.

• Azure Dragon and White Tiger — Bloodthirsty and greedy; their massacres prompted repeated failed sieges by God Realm experts before the Blood Demon Emperor suppressed them 181.

History

Era of the Blood Demon Emperor

The Blood Demon Emperor once led the God Realm, subdued the Four Divine Beasts, and established the Heavenly God Realm as its ruler 156. His rule is remembered as a prosperous period, but his fall led to schemes, bloodshed, and the eventual rise of the three great enforcers and numerous subordinate gods 156.

After his fall, the Four Divine Beasts expanded their territories, while powerful factions began concealing their ambitions behind law-enforcement authority 156.

Conflict Over Lin Xiao

Lin Xiao's descent into the Mortal Realm exposes divisions within the God Realm's legal order. The Angel God seeks to execute him under the realm's descent restrictions, while Tian Xue, the Asura God King, and Lin Xiao's father attempt to intervene despite the Enforcement Platform's authority 138 139.

The crisis ends only when a mysterious figure breaks the platform's restraints. The Angel God is later killed by the Asura God King, and his divinity is destroyed by Tian Xue 140.

Invasion of Douluo Continent

The God Realm later launches a large-scale assault on Douluo Continent. A million-strong army led by God Kings Su Cheng and Ye Dan attacks Jialing Pass after Lin Xiao is given one year to prepare 228 229.

The invading force suffers major losses against Lin Xiao and the united continental defenders. Its teleportation formation is targeted to prevent reinforcements, while its God Kings repeatedly fail to overcome Lin Xiao 231 232 243.

God Emperor Crisis

After the lower-realm campaign fails, God Emperor-level experts extend their conflict into the God Realm itself. Cities are destroyed, countless residents are killed, and the eastern city wall falls while the enforcers hesitate to intervene 245.

Poseidon publicly condemns the enforcers for abandoning the realm's people. The Destruction God King initially refuses to send aid out of fear of the God Emperors, but Lin Xiao—having reached the God King realm—takes command and compels reinforcements to be deployed 245 246.
