An Overwhelming Battle (Part Two)
To the orcs still riding their Dire Wolf far behind, it looked as if a spike had suddenly and inexplicably appeared in their path.
Before they could react and try to urge the Dire Wolf beneath them to avoid the spikes, the spikes in front of them suddenly exploded.
A powerful gust of wind rushed towards the orcs, carrying with it earth spikes that had been cleaved into pieces.
Logically speaking, even if a large spike hits an orc directly on the head, it shouldn't necessarily cause them much damage.
But these splintered fragments were different; they were accompanied by a fierce wind.
As the fragments of the spikes struck the orc charging at the front, the orc suddenly felt a metallic, sweet taste in his throat.
He instinctively reached for his neck and touched a warm liquid, which felt especially comforting in this cold place.
But since it was his own blood, he couldn't feel happy about this warmth.
He touched the deep wound and felt fear for the first time, but before he could take any further action, a line of blood appeared precisely on his neck.
The orc's large physique naturally made their aorta even stronger, and when his tough skin broke through, blood practically burst from his neck.
The orcs behind saw that the orc in front paused for a moment after being hit by the stone.
Then blood suddenly spurted from his neck, and he collapsed to the ground.
The scene before him had a tremendous impact on his worldview; he hadn't expected his companion to die so quickly.
Although a broken neck is still a fatal wound for them, it is both a vital wound and not a vital wound for all First Order Profession.
Because after becoming First Order Profession, one's physical strength is greatly enhanced. If two First Order Profession were to use an ordinary iron sword to slash at each other's neck, it would likely only cause a large wound, not a fatal one.
And now, he actually saw a First Order Profession being killed instantly by having his neck slit open.
This made him even more puzzled and surprised, because they were orcs, and normally their skin's defensive capabilities were stronger than those of a normal First Order Profession...
As his thoughts raced through his mind, an attack from the wind swept across the Dire Wolf beneath him.
He suddenly felt the Dire Wolf beneath him stiffen, and then, propelled by inertia, it fell to the ground with him.
Before he could react, the gust of wind pierced his arm, leaving a long, horizontal bloodstain on the side of his arm, through which the bone could be vaguely seen.
He quickly curled up on the ground, protecting his vital organs and using his skin to block the onslaught of the gale.
He shielded his eyes and ears, only able to hear the sounds of things being cut through his palms, and the heavy thud of something falling.
A few drops of cold liquid flowed near his body; he could feel it—it was blood.
A short while later, he was still alive, but he could no longer hear the sounds around him, including the howling wind and the screams of his companions.
When he opened his eyes, he saw the pitiful state of the Dire Wolf beneath him.
Its entire forelimb was sliced open by a powerful attack, and half of its head was severed along with it, blood flowing from the smooth cut surface.
When he tried to stand up to check the situation, he was devastated to find that his thighs and waist had been cut in several gruesome wounds, from which blood was gushing out.
Several orcs were knocked away by the spikes, but luckily escaped the attack of the gale.
They hurriedly got up from the ground, picked up the weapons scattered on the ground, and rushed towards Fran.
Fran gripped her silver longsword, the blade pointing sideways to the ground, awaiting her opponent's arrival.
An orc charging ahead, his eyes bloodshot, gripped a giant axe, his footsteps pounding the ground with a heavy thud. The axe whistled through the air, carrying the weight of a mountain as it cleaved towards Fran.
Fran's longsword emitted a red light and struck in the direction the giant axe was coming from.
The red light pierced through the surging giant axe, leaving a charred mark.
The charging orc felt his giant axe suddenly lighten, and the momentum propelled him toward the red light.
Just then, another slash tore through the air with a crisp explosion—a giant sword cleaved horizontally toward Fran.
Fran changed her stance, placing the red light behind her, stomping her foot on the ground, and leaping high into the air to dodge the powerful horizontal slash.
Then, she moved upwards, the red light on the longsword behind her dimmed, and a white light appeared on it, along with the angel pattern on the longsword.
A beam of light exploded beneath her, illuminating the world of the two orcs who had been wondering where Fran was.
This caused them to lose their ability to assess the Battlefield, leaving them only able to frantically swing their weapons in hopes of defending against Fran's attacks.
In the past, his skin was so tough that it could withstand heavy axe attacks, but now he felt extremely uneasy, as if he were wearing a thin veil that could be easily pierced.
A burning sensation ran through the two orcs' bodies. Their eyes were wide open. Still recovering from the burst of light, the last thing they saw was the white light, Fran's blurry figure, and that flickering red light.
On Fran's other side, an orc swung a steel club, smashing it down hard on Fran, seemingly unaffected by the death of his companion.
Fran easily dodged to the side. The red light on the sword faded, but the white light did not appear. This time, the image of an elephant appeared on the longsword.
Fran swiftly activated the [Elephant of Mountains] rune on her longsword, unleashing a terrifyingly heavy strike towards the orc.
The moment the longsword touched the flesh, the flesh was crushed to dust by the mountain.
Following the trail of the longsword, a slash cleaved the orc's body in two, splitting him in two. Blood exploded in front of Fran, leaving behind two indistinct lumps of flesh.
The only remaining orc standing had just gotten up; he was pinned down by his Dire Wolf, so he couldn't get up as quickly as possible.
But as soon as he got up, he saw a scene that terrified him. He looked around and saw that all his former companions had turned into corpses lying on the ground.
"No... kill me!!!"
An overwhelming fear surged through his mind, his blood ran cold, he dropped his weapon, and fled outside without a second thought.
Fran's other hand clenched tightly, and a powerful magical fluctuation suddenly appeared on his body.
The orc became one with the earth, his longsword and the clothes he used to cover his body were all fused into his flesh and blood.
This was the [Forced Fusion] enhanced by Fran's Mental Power; the orc was reduced to nothing more than a lump of something unknown.
