The Incident Ends
Fran saw the air force descending and immediately sent out a signal.
After receiving the signal, Anna came downstairs carrying the azure blue suitcase in both hands, her hands trembling slightly.
Anyone who has gone through all of this will inevitably feel some fear.
When these people had previously surrounded the castle, Anna trembled and immediately suggested to Fran:
"Let's escape through the secret passage. If we get caught, we'll have to give them this box."
However, Fran objected, and this is what Fran said to her.
"The backup I called is on its way and will be here soon. We just need to stall for time."
Anna's eyelids twitched with anxiety, not to mention that the Northern Lands Society was a five-day journey away on horseback.
The people from the Northern Lands Society can't possibly get here so quickly.
Furthermore, the number of First Order Profession outside is almost greater than the number of people inside the castle, and they are even better equipped.
They only have ordinary guards here, who at most have some Combat Technique. You could count the number of First Order Profession on one hand. How could they possibly stop them under these circumstances?!
She felt that just a single long-range divine spell cast by those Church of the Goddess of Ocean Currents would be enough to kill them.
However, she couldn't sway Fran's decision, so she could only let things take their course and see what Fran could do.
But things turned out completely unexpectedly; she never dreamed that this fellow Elf she encountered on the road would be so powerful.
The opponent also possesses something capable of instantly killing Second Order Profession User.
To be honest, the value of this item alone, which can directly kill Second Order Profession User, is probably far greater than the 10,000 Gold Coin offered by the Lord of White Dragon Port for this box; it might even be something you couldn't buy even if you had the money.
Even if it's just a one-time use item, its value far exceeds ten thousand Gold Coin.
Anna had absolutely no idea that the person she randomly met on the street was carrying such a huge sum of money...
Later, when she saw the members of the Church of the Goddess of Ocean Currents gathered together and praying collectively, her heart ached.
When those blizzards came down from the sky, she thought they were summoned by the people of the Church of the Goddess of Ocean Currents.
She was completely terrified, watching the blizzard fall from the sky, the chilling Cold Air making her feel as if she had fallen into an ice cave.
It wasn't until she saw that the blizzard had completely avoided the area directly above the castle that she came to her senses. This didn't seem to be the work of the Church of the Goddess of Ocean Currents.
After all, if it really Church of the Goddess of Ocean Currents it, why didn't she just let the Blizzard attack the castle? The castle didn't have any elemental resistance defenses, so it would most likely have been destroyed.
It wasn't until a group of mages descended from the sky in strange-looking creatures that she realized it was an attack by the mages.
After realizing the truth, she was filled with excitement; her plan had finally succeeded, and these past few days had truly been difficult.
Carrying the box, she walked up to the group of mages who had come out, placed the box on the ground, and then, without being reminded by the mages opposite her, retreated directly behind Fran.
The mages gave the box a quick inspection, then said to Zane, who was in charge:
"This should be it. The pattern and color match the target's appearance perfectly, but I don't know why there's a black mark on the bottom. It's probably from wear and tear."
"This is good. Put the box up. We'll be back right away," Zane instructed.
Then Zane turned to Fran and said in a pleading tone:
"Fran, the Society President has sent me to bring you back; it's become somewhat dangerous here."
Fran smiled and said:
"Besides myself, I have one more horse and maybe one more person here. Can those flying devices carry so many people?"
Zane nodded hurriedly and said:
"Sure, we just need to increase the power of the flight system. Shall we leave now?"
"No, wait a minute, I have something to take care of, it'll take at least an hour."
"Alright then, as soon as possible!"
Zane had no choice but to agree with Fran's idea. If it were him with his previous temper, he might have just taken this person with connections onto the flying device and left, without caring about anything else.
But Iris told him who Fran's real mentor was, which sent chills down his spine.
There was no other way; the matter concerning the other party's mentor was simply too serious, and he couldn't resort to violence directly. Otherwise, it wouldn't be good if he were attacked for taking coercive measures against a mage.
Fran first walked up to Anna and said to her:
"Hey, want to come to the Northern Lands Society? You probably don't have anywhere else to go, right?"
Anna was taken aback by these words, and it took her a moment to realize what Fran was doing; she was being invited to the Northern Lands Society.
After handing the items over to the mages, she had nothing else to do. Logically, she should have used her Ranger abilities to become Adventurer in another place.
But now she's in a somewhat awkward situation, because she shouldn't go back to White Dragon Port no matter what, regardless of whether the city lord of White Dragon Port knows what she looks like.
White Dragon Port is practically the only place in the vicinity where officially ranked Mercenary gather, and she can't find anywhere else for the time being.
Anna was quite touched. She hadn't expected that her fellow Elf, whom she had only met by chance, would invite her to the Alliance. This showed that they treated her like one of their own.
After all, she knew that without permission, even a Second Order Profession User couldn't enter the Northern Lands Society.
"Of course I went, Fran. Thank you so much, otherwise I wouldn't know where to go."
Fran smiled happily, as if she was pleased that Anna had accepted her suggestion; in fact, she was indeed very happy.
Because she needed manpower for some things she was planning, and Anna happened to be unfamiliar with the area and the only person she knew was Fran, Anna was the best choice for Fran.
"Wait a moment, I'll be right back after I do something."
Fran turned and walked into the castle, found Blake, and said directly:
"Blake, where are those Magic Creature you're looking for? Take me there."
An hour later, Blake watched the mages fly into the sky in their flying devices, his legs trembling. He wiped the sweat from his brow to calm himself down a little.
At the same time, he looked down at the ground, where the corpses of Magic Creature lay, and he was somewhat puzzled by this.
"Why would you, Master, ask me to capture these Magic Creature just to kill them? That's so absurd! Shouldn't mages study these Magic Creature? Why are you just killing them?"
