• Fran defeated Lynn 3–0 in the Champion Mage Challenge and began considering how to prove Aether’s existence.
• Roderick and Alva investigated the Propulsion Department, where Fran uncovered falsified reports and helped arrest the suspected perpetrators.
• Fran concluded that the Alchemy School planned to use Number Nine Floating City to attack the Sky Dragon, while Oinrich secretly offered her his Promotion Method.
• Fran’s electrical-energy and thermodynamics papers rose to the top of the Alchemy School journal rankings, making her the leading Gold Alchemy Award candidate.

Fran received the Amber Law Award and advanced to the Third Order while the Alchemy School’s operation against the Sky Dragon unfolded. After uncovering a plot to disrupt the Champion Mage Challenge, Fran headed for the ocean as Lai traveled to Bohan to hunt the Blood Law Sword Saint.

• Iris told Fran that her secret mission was over, but urged her to stay for the Amber Law Award ceremony as the Alchemy School prepared to act against the Sky Dragon.
• Valerie delayed the operation until more Fourth Order Mages arrived, then sent Number Nine Floating City toward the Sky Dragon while the Law School’s mages assembled for the attack.
• Harbos taught Fran the Energy-Forging Method, and Fran began forging elemental weapons while learning that Harbos would accompany her on the operation.
• Valerie and Oinrich used the Floating City to restrain the Sky Dragon, but the creature vanished and left behind a twisted skeleton as Fran heard a warning about seeking the voice of the Stars.
• Lai and Philly captured a Church of the Goddess of Ocean Currents warrior, who revealed a plan to disrupt the Champion Mage Challenge, prompting Fran to demand stronger safeguards through the Mana Telecommunications System agreement.
• Fran accepted the Amber Law Award as a Forge School mage and Harbos’s disciple, then discovered that her Arcane Mage profession had advanced to the Third Order.
• Fran chose to join Elijah’s Territory Mage Working Group and travel to the ocean, while Lai and Philly left for Bohan with the alchemy project and Lai began searching for the Blood Law Sword Saint.

Lai pursued the Broken Wing Sword Saint while a clash with Elias and other Third Order Professionals flooded Bohan and plunged it into an unnatural night. As Simon became the target of a citywide hunt, Lai joined the alliance searching for him and prepared to ambush Elias.

• Lai discovered a murdered plantation worker and recognized the Blood Law Sword Art as the weapon used against him.
• Lai fought off a Blood Law practitioner, marked him to follow, and faced an ambush by Elias and three other Third Order Professionals.
• Lai unleashed Elemental Regression, flooding Bohan, while Simon stole Gareth’s solidified mental power and used it to strengthen himself.
• Lai gained the Passionate Warrior Profession, then tried the Secret Words ritual and triggered an unusually long night over Bohan.
• Lai learned that Simon was blamed for the flood, the theft, and the darkness, and joined Rory’s alliance to hunt him in the Outer City.
• Lai partnered with Elias to spread seeds that would reveal Simon, while Simon tracked Elias and waited for a chance to draw blood.

Lai killed Simon, seized the Elephant of Mountains Sect’s holy relic, and eliminated Richard while framing Elias. As Bohan turned against Elias, The Alliance launched its surprise attack on White Dragon Port.

• Lai experimented with Secret Words and gained the three-star Secret Wordspeaker profession, then learned Elias had survived her attack but lost his Third Order strength.
• Lai rejected Richard’s attempt to recruit her against the City Lord’s Third Young Master, tracked Simon down, and forced him to flee after marking him.
• Lai found Simon hiding with Jesse, overcame their defenses, and left them in a ruined house, but Simon escaped with the Black Stone Slab.
• Fran’s team placed second in the Territory Mage Working Group duels and selected Wall District, while Aolain chose Withered Flow District.
• Percival ordered the Alliance to seize Withered Flow District and bomb the selected districts, as Lai caught Simon and killed him before taking the Black Stone Slab.
• Lai learned that the slab bore Abyssal writing, then confronted Kyle and used an All-Spirit Contract to make him reveal Richard’s whereabouts.
• Lai killed Richard with a Blood Law Sword Art move, and Rory identified the wound as evidence against Elias, prompting the City Lord to order Elias killed on sight.
