Hamura seemed to have expected Kamizuki to be confused. Only after Kamizuki asked did he continue: "The reason I'm telling you these things is because I know—you don't originally belong to this world. You are the one chosen by fate."

Kamizuki's confusion only deepened. What did he mean by "the me standing before you isn't actually me"? That was hard to understand.
Hamura paid no attention to his confusion and continued: "The me standing before you is merely a fragment of my consciousness that I left behind long ago. The real me is probably already dead on the moon."
After saying this, Hamura's consciousness grew somewhat melancholy. "After all, so many years have passed," he said, almost to himself.
Hearing Hamura say this, Kamizuki finally relaxed.
Hamura looked at Kamizuki and continued: "After my elder brother and I sealed our mother, many years passed. Then, one day, both I, on the moon, and my brother, in the Land of Ancestors, sensed a faint trace of chakra left behind by our mother—so faint it was difficult to detect.
"When my brother and I went to investigate where that chakra had come from and where it was, it vanished without a trace.
"After that, neither my brother nor I ever sensed that chakra again.
"My brother was deeply worried about the fluctuation. Unable to make sense of it, he returned to Mount Myoboku and sought out Gamamaru, the Great Toad Sage.
"After hearing Hagoromo's account, Gamamaru told him about a prophecy he had recently foreseen.
"The prophecy said:
"Many years from now, the destroyed God Tree will be reborn and grow new branches. Greed will descend upon this world once more, leading people into an endless dream.
"By the design of the god of fate, the Child of Prophecy will come into the world. In the end, the Child of Prophecy will defeat greed and save the world."
After hearing this prophecy, Kamizuki couldn't help muttering, "Is this the only plotline in the Naruto world?"
Kamizuki remembered that in the original story, Gamamaru had told Jiraiya a similar prophecy.
At first, Jiraiya met Minato Namikaze and thought he was the "Child of Prophecy," but it turned out he wasn't. Later, he met Nagato, who had the Rinnegan, but he wasn't the one either.
When Jiraiya began to doubt the prophecy, Uzumaki Naruto appeared, making him believe in it once more.

"That chest was where I left my consciousness. Only one of my descendants could open it with their blood. Once opened, they would receive my inheritance."
At this, Kamizuki gradually dropped his indifferent expression and became visibly excited.
Kamizuki's thoughts began running wild again:
In his previous life, when he watched the anime, Naruto and Sasuke received the inheritance of "Sage of Six Paths" Otsutsuki Hagoromo during their final battle against Madara. Hearing this, Kamizuki couldn't help recalling that in the original story, Hagoromo, the "Sage of Six Paths," had given Yin and Yang Power to Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke, respectively.
