Shimura Danzō

After the Uchiha Clan Massacre, it took the Konoha High Command about half a year to settle things down. Konoha gradually returned to its former prosperity.

Time passed quickly, just like those years of youth we had left behind.

In the blink of an eye, a new year arrived, bringing with it a ** season. (Ugh! Why does that sound so cheesy? Whatever, let's go with it!)

Hinata and Kamizuki were both six years old now.

At the start of the new semester, Sugita Tsubaki sought out Kamizuki and said to him:

"Hyuga Kamizuki, your grades have been excellent over the past two semesters. The school has discussed it and decided to let you graduate early. You'll be assessed by the school. Do you think you have the confidence to pass?"

After she finished speaking, Sugita Tsubaki watched Kamizuki with a teasing expression.

Being stared at like that by his own beautiful, voluptuous teacher made Kamizuki's hair stand on end. He was like a cat with its fur on end.

He thought it over, then glanced at Sugita Tsubaki. That look in her eyes was just too much for someone like Kamizuki, who had been a completely unremarkable nerd and single dog in his previous life!

A pure-hearted, innocent young virgin like Kamizuki had never been teased by a woman before.

He tried to control the way he spoke, hoping to keep anyone from noticing how nervous he was.

He said to Sugita Tsubaki, "Thank you for trusting me. I'll do my best to pass the assessment."

Though he seemed calm, Sugita Tsubaki noticed the odd look on Kamizuki's face. She smiled faintly, withdrew her teasing gaze, and stopped messing with him.

Seeing that Kamizuki had agreed to the school's proposal for early graduation, Sugita Tsubaki was very pleased with her gifted student.

Finally, she told Kamizuki to go home and prepare. The school had decided to assess him at the end of next month.

Sugita Tsubaki explained a few more details about the assessment, and then Kamizuki left her office.

Kamizuki had originally planned to study at the Ninja Academy for three to five years before even considering graduation.

He felt that the Academy was the perfect place to hide his abilities. He didn't think he was strong enough to protect himself yet, so he wanted to keep a low profile and conceal what he could do.

Some might ask: he was in Konoha, and he was a member of the Hyuga Clan, so he should be safe. What did he have to be afraid of?

Heh. Don't forget that although Konoha seemed stable and safe on the surface, with no danger in sight, Kamizuki was a transmigrator who knew the story. He hadn't forgotten that, in the shadows of Konoha, there was an organization called Root. Its leader, Shimura Danzō, was a sinister and cunning man. If he found out about Kamizuki's Tenseigan...

At the thought, a bead of cold sweat slipped down Kamizuki's forehead.

Some people might not know much about Shimura Danzō. Many might only know him as a major villain, something of a "background character" in the anime. He either showed up to seize the Hokage Position or schemed behind the scenes, before eventually being killed by Uchiha Sasuke.

Let's go into more detail!

Shimura Danzō: The leader of Root, Konoha's underground organization within the Anbu. He and Sarutobi Hiruzen were both disciples of the Second, Senju Tobirama, and he had always been a rival of the Third, Sarutobi Hiruzen.

He was ruthless and calculating, willing to do anything to take the Hokage Position. (The Uchiha Clan Massacre showed just how ruthless he was.)

He was an out-and-out ambitious man. After taking the Hokage Position, he wanted to unite the entire Ninja World through sheer force.

Back during the Ninja Wars, Danzō and the future Third, Sarutobi Hiruzen, were both members of the squad led by the Second, Senju Tobirama. The two regarded each other as rivals and were always competing.

During one battle, they were pursued by the Kinkaku Force of Kumogakure. After discussing it, the squad decided that one person would act as a decoy to lure the enemy away and ensure the others could retreat safely.

Danzō wanted to volunteer as the decoy, but at the crucial moment, he couldn't bring himself to say it.

Sarutobi Hiruzen stepped forward and offered to act as the decoy. But for the sake of Konoha's future, the Second, Senju Tobirama, ultimately decided to be the decoy himself. Before leaving, Senju Tobirama praised Hiruzen and entrusted the Hokage Position to him.

Danzō regretted it deeply. He believed that if he had stepped forward first and taken on the role of decoy, the Hokage Position would have been his.

After Hiruzen became Hokage, Danzō established an organization called Root under the pretext of training Anbu. It was under his sole command, and he became its leader.

Later, during the "Orochimaru Attacks Konoha" incident, the Third, Sarutobi Hiruzen, sacrificed himself after using the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to seal Orochimaru.

At last, Danzō achieved his wish and took the Hokage Position.

In the end, Danzō went to the Five Kage Summit as Hokage, only to be killed by Uchiha Sasuke, bringing his ambitions to an end.

Although Danzō was eventually killed by Nisuke, the Danzō of the present was still someone Hyuga Kamizuki couldn't afford to provoke.

But things don't always go according to plan. People say that plans never keep up with change.

So when Sugita Tsubaki told him to graduate early, Kamizuki readily agreed.

When Kamizuki got home, he told Hiashi about it. Hiashi didn't say much, only telling him to give it his all and not bring shame on the Hyuga family.

That was just how fathers were! They acted like they didn't care, but inside, it was as if you owed them millions. They were always thinking about you and worrying over whatever you were doing.

After dinner, Kamizuki went alone to the training room. Hinata had wanted to come along and practice too, but Hiashi stopped her.

Once in the training room, Kamizuki decided to see what other ninjutsu in Hamura's Inheritance he could learn at his current level.

He found a cushion, sat cross-legged, closed his eyes, and entered his mindscape.

As someone writing a book for the first time, I used to be a reader who loved all kinds of novels.

Since the Naruto: Shippuden manga ended this year, many passionate Naruto fans have started writing all kinds of Naruto fanfiction based on their imaginations.

I've been a Naruto fan for eight or nine years. At first, I read all kinds of Naruto fanfiction, but many of them were abandoned after only a few chapters. As a reader, I strongly looked down on and condemned those authors who abandoned their stories.

I've read many Naruto fanfics, and they all wrote about how powerful the Sharingan and Rinnegan were.

After watching the tenth movie, I found the Tenseigan, an eye that seemed capable of rivaling the Rinnegan. So I started searching online for novels about the Tenseigan, but I found almost none with that premise.

I wondered why, when the Tenseigan was so powerful, no one had used it as the subject of a Naruto fanfiction.

One day, after getting home from work with nothing to do, I registered as an author online. Since no one had written about the Tenseigan, I thought I'd give it a try myself, so I started writing for fun.

I wrote a few chapters and posted them on Penguin Reading. After reading them myself, I felt they weren't very good. I couldn't create the same sense of immersion as those great authors.

But I didn't give up. I'm a reader too, and as I said before, I looked down on and condemned authors who abandoned their stories. I didn't want to become someone I'd look down on and condemn myself.

My education isn't very good. You could say I'm only a tiny bit better than an elementary school student, so I can't guarantee that I'll write this book well. But I can guarantee that I won't abandon it.

I think that when you do something, it doesn't matter if you can't guarantee you'll do it well. At the very least, if your attitude is right, that's a kind of success too.

So I can't promise everyone that I'll write this book really well, but I can promise that I'll write it with the best attitude I can.

After a week, the book had more than 200 favorites, and the number of recommendation tickets was close to 100. I don't know if those are good results or not, but I'm already very satisfied.
