Background and History

Tsunade is a member of the Senju clan, granddaughter of Hashirama Senju, and daughter of Senju Tokuhito. Her father inherited leadership of the Senju after Hashirama's death. 55

She became one of Konoha's Legendary Sannin alongside Jiraiya and Orochimaru. Her younger brother, Nawaki, and her lover, Kato Dan, both died in her arms; the trauma caused her hemophobia and contributed to her departure from Konoha. 78 82
