The tavern owner finally showed himself.

His face was dark with anger. Seeing Tsunade's imposing presence, he assumed his identity had been exposed and that she had come to arrest him.

However, when he realized Tsunade was alone, a glimmer of hope rose in his heart.

"Take her out. As long as she's dead, I can escape!"

With that thought, the tavern owner quickly formed Hand Seals and shouted:

"Wind Style: Vacuum Wave!"

A compressed blast of wind instantly formed and shot toward Tsunade's back.

Wind Release was incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, it had reached Tsunade.

But Tsunade seemed to have eyes in the back of her head. She shifted her foot slightly, and her figure vanished from where she stood.

In the next instant, she was right in front of the tavern owner.

"You're too slow."

Tsunade said coldly, then swung a punch.

"Bam!"

The tavern owner didn't have time to react. As if struck by a cannonball, he was driven straight into the ground.

The earth caved in, leaving a massive crater.

Watching from a distance, Amada blurted out:

"Whoa, is he dead?"

Tsunade glanced at Amada and answered casually:

"He's alive. I held back. He still has to pay for the damage."

Amada breathed a sigh of relief.

At least the target was still alive, so he could turn in his mission successfully.

And judging by the ninjutsu the tavern owner had just used, there was no doubt about his identity—he was definitely a spy.

He had some nerve, attacking Tsunade like that. Did he not know who she was?

Suddenly, Amada's view was filled by a magnificent expanse of white.

He instinctively looked up and saw Tsunade standing right in front of him,

looking down at him with an almost amused expression.
