"Uchiha?" Tsunade heard the surname and looked Amada over carefully.
"No wonder you made it into the Anbu at such a young age. You're a prodigy of the Uchiha Clan."
The Senju Clan and the Uchiha Clan of Konoha had a history of bad blood, but that belonged to the previous generation.
As the Senju Clan dwindled, those old grudges had long since faded away.
Though Tsunade was descended from the Senju Clan, her prejudice against the Uchiha had long since diminished. What she felt now was mostly admiration for a talented young shinobi.
Then Tsunade suddenly seemed to think of something. A faint smile crossed her face as she stared straight at Amada.
Amada immediately sensed trouble and muttered to himself:
That smile... Why do I feel like something bad is about to happen?
"Kid, back at the tavern, how did you know whether the dice would land high or low? I didn't see you use any ninjutsu to cheat."
She was very interested in Amada's methods.
After all, accurately predicting the dice in a gamble without using any obvious ninjutsu—
that wasn't something just anyone could do.
Under Tsunade's gaze, Amada felt a little unnerved and quickly considered how to answer.
Tsunade wasn't easy to fool. If he made up some random excuse, she would probably see right through it.
After thinking for a moment, Amada spoke:
"I was born with unusually sharp powers of observation. I don't actually need to watch the dice. I just have to keep my eyes on the person shaking them. Since he's cheating, his expressions and movements tell me whether he plans to make the next roll high or low."
A glint of excitement flashed in Tsunade's eyes as she listened.
She jumped to her feet and grabbed Amada by the arm.
