After finishing his training that morning, Amada headed toward the Ninja Academy with a spring in his step.
At that moment, he deeply felt just how much the Lottery System had changed his life.
As he walked, he spotted Obito in the distance.
Obito was dressed in his usual signature outfit, walking down the street with his head held high and his chest puffed out.
Amada quickened his pace and went over to greet him with a smile.
"Morning, Obito!"
Obito turned at the sound of his voice. When he saw Amada, he smiled and replied,
"Hey, Amada! You look like you're in a good mood today!"
The two walked side by side toward the Ninja Academy.
As they walked, Amada found himself watching Obito.
He noticed that Obito seemed a little different than usual today. A confident smile spread across his face,
and his eyes shone with eager excitement, as if he were sure he'd win the upcoming sparring match.
"Obito, you seem especially cheerful today. Did something good happen?"
Amada couldn't help asking. Obito chuckled, thumped his chest, and said,
"Of course! In today's sparring match, I'm going to show that Kakashi guy what I can do!"
Looking at Obito's confident expression, Amada wondered what he had up his sleeve to be so sure of himself.
Before long, they arrived at the Ninja Academy gates.
Asuma and Kurenai Yuhi were standing there, chatting.
Remembering that he had just drawn the adult Kurenai Yuhi's Illusion Technique training notes, Amada couldn't help glancing at her a few more times.
Kurenai Yuhi noticed Amada's gaze and instinctively turned toward him.
Their eyes met. Amada's gaze held a hint of curiosity and scrutiny,
while Kurenai Yuhi froze for a moment, her cheeks instantly flushing red.
She instinctively lowered her head.
Although Amada had always been regarded as the Dead Last at the Ninja Academy, he had inherited the Uchiha Clan's fine genes.
He was handsome, with delicate features, and was every bit as good-looking as Kakashi.
Amada shifted his gaze from Kurenai Yuhi and happened to look at Asuma.
He caught a flicker of displeasure on Asuma's face,
the slight furrow of his brows and tightly pressed lips seeming to betray his resentment.
Amada privately reasoned that, judging from Asuma's expression, he was probably angry because Amada had looked at Kurenai Yuhi a few times.
It was only natural that Asuma would be unhappy to see the Dead Last staring at the girl he liked.
As Amada stepped through the school gates, Might Guy's energetic figure immediately caught his eye.
Guy strode inside, throwing punches and kicks as he went.
For Guy, training like this had long since become part of his daily routine.
Amada continued into the school and passed several Uchiha Clan students along the way.
The moment his gaze met theirs, he sensed the peculiar look in their eyes.
The Uchiha students wore faintly contemptuous expressions, their eyes full of disdain,
as if they were voicing their displeasure with him and Obito, the two Dead Lasts.
Amada understood that, in their eyes, his and Obito's performance had brought shame upon the Uchiha Clan.
But he didn't care in the least. Since coming to this world,
he hadn't developed much of an attachment to the Uchiha Clan, so their opinions naturally couldn't affect his mood.
So this is what being a Spectator can do?
Amada pondered silently.
In the past, he would never have been so observant or so good at reading people.
Now, he could glean their surface thoughts from the slightest changes in their expressions. It felt both strange and fascinating.
He suddenly realized that drinking the Spectator potion had enhanced his perception and analytical abilities.
Perhaps that was the potion's subtle effect—and this was only the beginning.
In the Ninja Academy classroom, when the theory lesson began, Amada planned to pass the time by resting his head on the desk and sleeping.
In the past, the complicated theories of ninjutsu and obscure tactical analyses had left him completely uninterested.
But when the teacher's familiar voice rang through the classroom, Amada unexpectedly realized that something was different.
His drowsy mind suddenly cleared the instant he heard the theoretical material.
Even more surprising, the content that had once seemed like an indecipherable text now sounded clear and easy to understand. He could even grasp some of it without effort.
Amada was startled. He instinctively sat up straight, his eyes full of confusion and delight.
But he quickly came to his senses, quietly lying back down,
pretending to sleep while actually straining to hear every word of the lesson.
He also methodically analyzed and organized every point the teacher explained.
During this process, Amada felt as though he had opened a door to a whole new world.
The concepts and principles that used to give him such a headache now seemed perfectly logical.
He could not only follow the teacher's train of thought but also draw conclusions of his own, connecting different pieces of knowledge in his mind.
Is this another change brought about by the Spectator potion?
Amada marveled to himself.
At last, he understood why the system had rated the Spectator potion as purple quality.
This miraculous potion had not only given him keen powers of observation but had also significantly improved his ability to learn.
The more Amada thought about it, the more excited he became. He knew what an improvement like this could mean for him.
He even felt that, given the tremendous changes the potion had brought, it wouldn't be unreasonable to rate it as orange quality.
On the Ninja Academy training field.
All the students in Amada's class stood in two neat rows in the middle of the field.
Their faces were alight with excitement and anticipation, their eyes gleaming with eagerness,
because the sparring lesson was a perfect chance to show off in front of their classmates.
Obito stood in line, staring intently at Kakashi nearby, his gaze full of provocation.
It seemed to declare,
"Today, I'll make you see me in a whole new light!"
Kakashi, meanwhile, remained as cool and indifferent as ever, his hands in his pockets.
He raised his chin slightly, his eyes revealing a hint of disdain, as if to say,
"You think you can challenge me?"
The tension between them was palpable, as if sparks would fly at any moment.
The sparring match was about to begin. The teacher stood in the middle of the training field,
holding a sheet of paper with the matchups and announcing in a loud voice,
"First match: Kurenai Yuhi versus Shizune!"
The teachers had actually arranged the matchups ahead of time, generally pairing students of similar ability.
But there were exceptions. Some students with special privileges might be paired with weaker opponents to give them a chance to shine.
Though some of them would become famous Jonin in the future, for now they were all just children.
Most of the matches came down to throwing punches. Few students could use ninjutsu.
Once the match started, the girls fought like ordinary children, swinging their fists at each other and trying to land a hit.
