History

The mutation first manifests when Yu Tian uses a lottery-granted awakening opportunity despite its warning of pain and chakra instability. His eyes become scarlet Double Tomoe Sharingan; although the mutation has no immediately visible distinction from an ordinary Sharingan, it grants exceptional clarity of sight and dormant unique ocular techniques. 17

Its first confirmed technique is a dream-based genjutsu used to obtain intelligence from a villager. The illusion can immediately put a target to sleep, manipulate their consciousness inside a dream, and influence their actions. It later incapacitates Leilu before Yu Tian kills him. 20 23

During the Third Shinobi World War, Amada’s Double Tomoe evolve into a mutated Triple Tomoe while facing Killer B. The new form bears faint golden lightning patterns and expands the Sharingan’s range of perception, dream manipulation, and mental pressure. 70
