Pah, Malone, what are you thinking about!
--Malone despised himself fiercely in his heart.
That girl trusts you so much, and here you are thinking such filthy thoughts about her!
--Malone desperately tried to reflect on his own behavior.
However, this reflection was of little use; with soft, fragrant warmth by his side, and being a man of exceptionally strong constitution, how could Malone possibly remain indifferent?
Malone then began to try and divert his attention.
This was not easy; there were only three people in the wooden shed: Malone himself, the silent Teron Gorefiend sitting in the distance, and Tiffany, who held such immense temptation for Malone.
To shift his focus, Malone could only rely on...
"The Tao that can be told, the beginning of man..."
Malone began to recite the ancient literature he had once learned in his heart.
From the Three Character Classic and the Hundred Family Surnames to the Tao Te Ching, eventually, Malone even began to recall those tedious and complex mathematical and physical formulas.
Back when he was in school, the mere mention of these would make him drowsy, and now was no exception.
Soon, the interest in Tiffany's body was gradually driven out of his mind, and he began to feel sleepy.
"Just... rest for a while, there is still training tomorrow."
Malone said to himself, then gently rested his head against the wooden post behind him, closing his eyes just like that while sitting.
Dazed and drifting between sleep and wakefulness, he did not know how much time had passed before Malone opened his eyes once again.
Over the past while, Malone seemed to have experienced many things in that half-dreaming state.
Some were memories from Earth, while others took place in Azeroth.
Shaking his head, Malone tried to regain his clarity, then steadied himself to look around.
Piles of hay, rough wooden posts, dim daylight—yes, Malone knew he was still in that wooden shed.
This also meant that everything that had happened before was not a dream; he had indeed arrived in Azeroth—this world that was both familiar and strange to him.
Having regained his senses, Malone felt a slight vibration in his hand and looked down toward his feet.
Tiffany was staring at Malone with those beautiful, large blue eyes.
Malone and Tiffany's gazes met in the air; the young girl seemed a bit shy, but she still nodded at him.
"Mr. Malone, you're awake!"
Tiffany lay before Malone, her beautiful golden hair looking slightly disheveled from a night of sleep, but that did not diminish her beauty in the slightest.
"Mm, oh!"
Malone nodded in response, then hurriedly let go of the hand he had been holding with Tiffany.
"How... how long have you been awake?"
Malone stood up, stretched his limbs, and asked.
"Just a little while!"
Tiffany also sat up, leaning back against the wooden post behind her, and gently tidied her hair.
Malone stretched his back, feeling as though he had recovered two hundred percent of his vitality.
It seems sleep really does have its benefits, but...
Where is Teron Gorefiend?
Malone looked around the wooden shed but did not see the figure of this Death Knight leader.
Could Teron have left for some reason? No... he should have known he was asleep; he wouldn't leave so easily and put himself and Tiffany in danger.
--Malone thought to himself.
"I'll go out and take a look."
Malone said to Tiffany.
"Mm! Be careful, Mr. Malone!"
Tiffany tossed her tidied hair behind her and gave Malone a sweet smile.
"I will."
Malone nodded with a smile and walked out of the wooden shed.
As Malone expected, Teron Gorefiend had not left; he was standing just outside the wooden shed, and opposite him was an acquaintance of Malone's.
"Maicomarlon, you're awake?"
Kaldara, carrying an earthenware pot, said with a smile to Malone as he walked out of the shed.
"Mm."
Malone looked up at the position of the sun; without a clock, he could only rely on this sole clue to determine the time.
Malone was not good at this, but he roughly knew it was not early, as the sun had not yet risen above the distant mountain peaks.
"Food."
Kaldara raised the clay pot in his hand, gesturing toward Malone.
"Oh... thank you."
Malone stepped forward quickly and took the pot from Kaldara's hands.
Of course, Malone had learned his lesson this time; he certainly wouldn't be supporting the bottom of the pot with his bare hands again.
"Hurry up and go eat with that human woman. Once you're finished, we have things to do."
Kaldara said to Malone with excitement.
"Things? What things?"
Malone asked in confusion. He didn't recall making any plans for today with Kaldara last night, and he still had to learn combat from Teron Gorefiend.
"That's right!"
Kaldara laughed, pointing a finger at the greatsword Malone had stuck into the ground of the prisoner camp last night.
"I heard you're learning how to become an excellent warrior from Teron Gorefiend? Well, as it happens, I am exactly that kind of excellent warrior."
Kaldara said to Malone with pride.
"Oh..."
Malone replied, then turned and walked toward the wooden shed, carrying the pot filled with food.
Orcish was not Malone's native tongue, after all; it always took him a moment to process what was being said.
It wasn't until Malone walked into the wooden shed, placed the pot filled with the same meat porridge as yesterday in front of Tiffany, and handed her the long-handled spoon, that he finally realized what Kaldara had meant.
Did this Blademaster mean... he wanted to teach him some combat techniques as well?
This was a Blademaster famous throughout the entire Horde!
Malone had never imagined he could learn anything from Kaldara. Even though he knew this Blademaster was incredibly powerful, they weren't exactly close.
But things were different now. Kaldara had called Malone a friend last night, and today, he had taken the initiative to offer to teach him something.
This couldn't help but make Malone excited; he didn't even feel like eating anymore.
"Tiffany, I'm going to step away for a moment. I have to go train."
Malone said to Tiffany.
"Huh? But... Mr. Malone, aren't you going to eat?"
Tiffany looked at Malone, who had already stood up, and asked with concern.
"No need, I'm not hungry yet."
Malone shook his head—his body was, after all, something between a Death Knight and a human, so he didn't require three meals a day like an ordinary human.
Compared to eating, Malone was far more eager to find out what he could learn from Kaldara.
Would there really be things like Bladestorm or Wind Walk?
