Background

Su Chen transmigrated to the Douluo Continent sixteen years before the story. At nineteen years old, he worked in Martial Soul Hall's Library Pavilion, having accepted a quiet life of sweeping and reading after his Withered Sapling Martial Soul and Level 1 innate soul power left him seemingly incapable of pursuing strength. 1

His life changed when the Eye of Omniscience activated and identified him as the Lord of Creation. The system revealed that bond partners completing tasks would grant him tenfold to hundredfold critical returns, while he only needed to be loved. 1

Bibi Dong's first system-mandated interaction with him exposed an ancient, higher-dimensional life aura within his body. Su Chen immediately recognized the danger of revealing himself to the Pope and began maintaining the identity of a frightened, powerless servant. 2 3
