Uchiha Nagi chuckled, feeling a sudden curiosity about the expression Kushina would wear once she was explicitly rejected.

"No rush. We still have some time. Let's wait until we're all certain before we go to Inoue-sensei to request our graduation assessment."

Hearing this, Namikaze Minato and Kushina both nodded in agreement.

Namikaze Minato was fine; he could take responsibility for himself, as every decision he made was his own.

Eri had a sudden realization; she had been wondering why Uchiha Nagi, who usually preferred to slack off, would suddenly want to graduate.

"Since that's the case, then go ahead and graduate."

Eri had no intention of stopping him. She was the only one who knew the true extent of Uchiha Nagi's strength—he was even more powerful than she was—so what reason did she have to prevent him from graduating?

"Her name is... Uchiha Mikoto."

Uchiha Nagi stumbled, nearly falling over as he stared at Uchiha Eri in disbelief. "You said who?!"

Seeing Uchiha Nagi's reaction, Eri looked puzzled. "Do you know Mikoto too, Nagi?"

"I suppose you could say that."

Uchiha Nagi's mouth twitched. Of course he knew her; although they hadn't met in reality, she was the mother of Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Sasuke from the original story.

She wasn't on a team with Uchiha Fugaku, but with him?

Uchiha Nagi thought it over carefully. It made sense; that old man Uchiha Fugaku was much older than Uchiha Mikoto, so they wouldn't have been paired together.

Still, hadn't he changed the plot a bit too drastically?

He remembered that in the original story, Namikaze Minato's teammates were just two background characters; based on their portraits, one was from the Akimichi Clan and the other from the Uchiha Clan.

Generally, those who could form an Ino-Shika-Cho team were elites, much like the trio in the fifth grade who were all destined to become heads of their respective clans.
