Ninjutsu

Ninjutsu uses hand seals to guide chakra through a prescribed flow, functioning as an operational program that shapes an intended technique. 19

• Hand seals are not inherently indispensable; powerful users can omit them because the essential requirement is a sufficiently clear will to direct chakra. 19
• Language can reinforce will and stabilize chakra flow, allowing spoken commands or chants to substitute for more conventional control methods. 19 20
