He told Miroku she would remain the nominal leader of the Land of Demons, but his final “however” left his remaining condition unstated.

• Xuanye told Miroku he knew the bond between the mikos and Moryo, and warned that her daughter would likely inherit the same fate.

• A golden pillar descended before Uchiha Genya could absorb Uchiha Madara, and Might Guy opened the Eight Gates and used Night Guy to shield Konoha’s side.
• The explosion devastated the battlefield and killed many elite shinobi from the allied villages, while the survivors saw a vast basin left by the blast.
• Ōnoki saw only Musō Isshin and a serpentine dagger at the center of the basin and concluded that Uchiha Genya and Uchiha Madara had died.
• Uchiha Hikari saw Musō Isshin, remembered how Genya had treated her, and realized that he was the only person she could not live without.

After Xuanye’s apparent death, Uchiha Hikari lost control, nearly awakened the Rinnegan, and used Yachihoko to mark the moon and everyone bathed in its light. As a golden attack from the moon descended on her Susanoo, a teasing voice told her not to lose her head.

• Uchiha Hikari’s grief over Xuanye’s death triggered a change in her Mangekyō, but she failed to awaken the Rinnegan.
• Hikari summoned her blood-red Complete Body Susanoo and ignored Kakashi’s attempts to calm her.
• Ōnoki and A watched helplessly as Hikari threatened to kill everyone around her.

• The chapter revealed that only four Otsutsuki descendants remained on the moon after the Main and Branch Families’ war and years of decline.

• The old man used the Giant Tenseigan to erase Uchiha Hikari’s Yachihoko marks from Rō and Aoi, then fired another Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion at the Ninja World.
