Visitors from the Cosmos

A streak of light tore through the sky, crashing into the wilderness and gouging a massive crater into the ground.

It was a small spacecraft. A burly man with long hair emerged, a thick tail coiled around his waist.

"There are still humans on this planet! Kakarot, what on earth are you doing?" Raditz was instantly enraged upon seeing the humans before him.

Beep! Beep!

The scouter before his eyes transmitted a stream of data.

"A piece of trash with a power level of only five!" Raditz looked down with disdain at the farmer holding a gun.

Bang!

Seeing Raditz's evil expression, the farmer was terrified and fired a shot, but Raditz caught the bullet in his hand.

With a flick of his finger, the bullet tore through the air and struck the farmer, sending him flying.

"Trash!"

Just then, a powerful energy reading appeared on his scouter.

"Is that Kakarot?" Raditz flew into the air, excited, and headed toward the detected energy.

"Hello, everyone!"

The plane landed on a small island, and Bulma stepped out with Wang Sheng and Gohan.

"Ah!" Inside the house, Krillin and Master Roshi's eyes nearly popped out of their heads when they saw Bulma holding two children.

"Bulma, are you babysitting for someone?" Krillin asked with a dry laugh.

"Not at all! This is Goku's son, Gohan." Bulma smiled and pointed at Gohan, then gestured toward Wang Sheng: "And this is my son, Wang Sheng!"

"Your son? Wang Sheng? Is he the child of you and Wang Yang?" Master Roshi asked.

"That's right! Hurry up and say hello to everyone!" Bulma said to the two children.

"Hello, everyone!" Wang Sheng and Gohan greeted them politely.

"I can't believe it's been five years; you two have children now." Krillin felt a bit sentimental. He had started his training alongside Goku, yet now Goku's child was already this big, while he remained alone. Thinking about it brought a sting of bitterness.

"Where is Goku? And Wang Yang? What about Yamcha? Why didn't they come?" Master Roshi asked curiously.

"Goku went to train with King Kai, Wang Yang went out into the universe, and as for Yamcha, I forgot to notify him," Bulma laughed.

Just then, a strange figure descended from the sky.

"Such powerful killing intent!" Master Roshi's expression turned grave beneath his sunglasses.

Raditz's face turned cold as he saw the group. His scouter had sensed powerful energy here, but an old man, a woman, two children, and a bald man didn't match the image of Kakarot at all.

"Damn Kakarot, to think there are still humans alive on this planet; it's a disgrace to the Saiyan race."

Raditz shouted bitterly.

"Kakarot!" Bulma muttered. She remembered Wang Yang saying that Kakarot was the Saiyan name for Goku.

"Who are you? Stop spouting nonsense and get out of here!" Krillin stepped forward, waving his hand to tell him to leave.

Snap!

The tail coiled around Raditz's waist lashed out like a bolt of lightning, striking Krillin and sending him flying with a single whip-like motion.

Ah!

Bulma was horrified, clutching Wang Sheng and Gohan as she trembled.

Damn it! Master Roshi took off his sunglasses, watching Raditz with a solemn expression.

"A tail? He's a Saiyan too!" Bulma was shocked as she looked at the tail swinging behind Raditz. She remembered Wang Yang saying that the Saiyan planet had exploded and that fewer than ten Saiyans remained alive. Furthermore, aside from him and Goku, the other Saiyans were all evil, constantly destroying planets and wiping out all life upon them.

A tail? Raditz noticed the tails behind Wang Sheng and Gohan as well. Recalling that Kakarot had been sent to Earth, and that there were only a few Saiyans left, he concluded that these two children must be Kakarot's.

"Tell me, where is Kakarot?" Raditz looked down at Bulma from his position in the air.

"You mean Kakarot? He's not on Earth; he's training with King Kai," Bulma said nervously.

"He's not on Earth?" Raditz's expression turned gloomy.

"Who exactly are you? And what are you here for?" Krillin wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, leaning against the wall as he glared at Raditz in fury.

"Who am I?"

"Ha! I am the high-class warrior who makes the universe tremble with fear, the Saiyan—Raditz!" Raditz laughed heartily; he loved seeing the look of fear on the faces of the weak.

Within the Saiyan race, he was a low-class warrior, but in the universe, he was a high-class warrior.

"We Saiyans are the most powerful warriors in the universe, but our planet was struck by a massive meteor, and all our people died. Only I and two other companions survived because we were away on a mission. Homeless, we have no choice but to attack planets, slaughter all life on them, and sell them for a good price. We are currently facing stubborn resistance while attacking a planet, so I remembered my younger brother, Kakarot, who was sent here as a child." Raditz boasted as he introduced his 'great' profession.

"How evil! Even more brutal than King Piccolo once was," Master Roshi roared in anger.

"Wang Yang, where are you? Please come and destroy this demon," Bulma thought, terrified.

"Since my foolish brother didn't wipe out the life on this planet, I, as his older brother, will have to finish the job for him." A terrifying smile spread across Raditz's face.

Seeing Raditz's brutal demeanor, Gohan hid behind Bulma in fear, his small hands gripping her clothes tightly.

"Bulma, hurry and leave! I'll hold him off—go back and notify Wang Yang and Goku to return!" Master Roshi roared, his shriveled muscles inflating like a balloon until he transformed into a burly giant.

Raditz laughed heartily, soaring high into the sky as he casually condensed an energy sphere in his hand and flung it downward.

"Kamehameha!"

"Kamehameha!"

Krillin and Master Roshi both shouted, launching their Ki Blasts in unison.

Unfortunately, their combat power was simply too low; the moment their Ki Blasts collided with the attack from Raditz, they were obliterated like dry wood, and the remaining force of the blast continued to surge downward unabated.

"Ah!"

"Ah!"

Master Roshi and Krillin were struck by the Ki Blast, the immense power driving them backward toward Bulma and the others.

"Ah!" Bulma hugged Wang Sheng and Son Gohan tightly, crouching on the ground and trembling.

I have to protect Mom! Wang Sheng thought, remembering his father's warning to always protect her.

Krillin and Master Roshi, who had closed their eyes to await death, suddenly felt the overwhelming pressure vanish. The explosion they had imagined never occurred, and when they regained their senses, they discovered that the Ki Blast had actually stopped in mid-air.

"This..." Krillin suddenly noticed a small figure abruptly wedged between the two of them, a pair of tender, childish hands pressed against the Ki Blast.
