Visitors from Space

A streak of light tore across the sky and crashed into a wilderness, smashing a huge crater into the ground.

It was a small spacecraft. A hulking, long-haired man emerged, a thick tail wrapped around his waist.

"Humans still live on this planet? Kakarot, what the hell have you been doing?" Raditz flew into a rage when he saw the humans before him.

Beep! Beep!

A reading appeared on his Scouter.

"Only a power level of five. What a weakling!" Raditz sneered at the farmer holding a gun.

Smack!

The farmer saw Raditz's evil face and, terrified, raised his gun and fired. Raditz caught the bullet in one hand.

With a flick of his finger, he sent the bullet hurtling through the air and slammed it into the farmer, sending him flying.

"Weakling!"

Just then, a powerful energy reading appeared on the Scouter.

"Is it Kakarot?" Raditz flew excitedly into the sky and headed toward the energy source.

"Hello, everyone!"

The plane landed on a small island, and Bulma got out with Wang Sheng and Gohan.

"Ah!" Krillin and Master Roshi were in the room. When they saw Bulma holding the hands of two children, their eyes nearly popped out.

"Bulma, are you babysitting for someone?" Krillin said with an awkward laugh.

"Of course not. This is Goku's son, Gohan." Bulma smiled and pointed to Gohan, then gestured toward Wang Sheng. "And this is my son, Wang Sheng!"

"Your son? Wang Sheng? Is he yours and Wang Yang's?" Master Roshi asked.

"That's right! Go on, say hello to everyone," Bulma told the two children.

"Hello, everyone!" Wang Sheng and Gohan greeted them politely.

"I can't believe you both have kids now. It's been five years." Krillin sighed. He and Goku had started training together all those years ago, and now Goku's son was already this big, while he was still alone. Just thinking about it brought tears to his eyes.

"Where's Goku? And Wang Yang? What about Yamcha? Why aren't they here?" Master Roshi asked curiously.

"Goku went to train with King Kai, Wang Yang went off into space, and I forgot to tell Yamcha," Bulma said with a smile.

Just then, a stranger dropped from the sky.

"What a powerful killing intent!" Master Roshi's expression grew grave beneath his sunglasses.

Raditz took one look at the people before him, and his expression turned cold. His Scouter had detected a powerful energy here, but all he saw was an old man, a woman, two children, and a bald man. None of them looked anything like Kakarot.

"Damn you, Kakarot! There are still humans alive on this planet? You've disgraced the Saiyans!"

Raditz shouted angrily.

"Kakarot?" Bulma murmured. She remembered Wang Yang telling her that Kakarot was Goku's Saiyan name.

"Who are you? Stop talking nonsense and get out of here!" Krillin stepped forward and waved him away.

Smack!

The tail wrapped around Raditz's waist flashed like lightning. With one lash, it sent Krillin flying.

"Ah!"

Bulma was horrified and trembled as she held Wang Sheng and Gohan.

Damn it! Master Roshi took off his sunglasses and stared gravely at Raditz.

"A tail? He's a Saiyan too!" Bulma stared at the tail swishing behind Raditz and was shocked. She remembered Wang Yang once telling her that the Saiyan home planet had exploded, and fewer than ten Saiyans were still alive. Other than him and Goku, all the Saiyans were evil, destroying planets and wiping out the life on them at every turn.

A tail? Raditz now noticed the tails behind Wang Sheng and Gohan. Kakarot had been sent to Earth, and there were only a handful of Saiyans left, so these two children must be Kakarot's.

"Tell me where Kakarot is!" Raditz looked down at Bulma.

"You mean Kakarot? He isn't on Earth. He's training with King Kai," Bulma said nervously.

"He's not on Earth?" Raditz's expression darkened.

"Who are you? What did you come here for?" Krillin wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and leaned against the wall, glaring furiously at Raditz.

"Who am I?"

"Hahaha! I'm Raditz, a mighty Saiyan warrior feared throughout the universe!" Raditz laughed. He loved seeing the fear on the faces of the weak.

Among the Saiyans, he was a Low-Class Warrior. In the universe, he was a mighty warrior.

"We Saiyans are the strongest warriors in the universe, but our planet was struck by a giant meteor, and all our people died. Only me and two companions survived, because we happened to be away on a mission. With nowhere to go, we had to attack planets, kill all the life on them, and sell them for a good price. We're fighting on a planet right now, but the locals are putting up fierce resistance, so I thought of my little brother Kakarot, who was sent here when he was young." Raditz proudly described his "great" profession.

"How evil! He's even more vicious than King Piccolo was!" Master Roshi roared furiously.

"Wang Yang, where are you? Hurry and come destroy this demon!" Bulma trembled in fear.

"Since my foolish little brother failed to wipe out the life on this planet, I suppose I'll have to finish the job for him." A terrifying smile spread across Raditz's face.

Seeing how vicious Raditz looked, Gohan cowered behind Bulma, clutching the hem of her clothes with both hands.

"Bulma, run! I'll hold him off. Get back and tell Wang Yang and Goku to come back!" Master Roshi shouted. His shriveled muscles swelled as if inflated, and in an instant he became a hulking man.

Raditz laughed loudly and flew into the sky, casually forming an energy sphere in his hand and hurling it down.

"Kamehameha!"

"Kamehameha!"

Krillin and Master Roshi shouted in unison and fired their energy waves.

Unfortunately, their power levels were far too low. The moment their attacks collided with Raditz's Ki Blast, they were crushed with overwhelming force. The blast continued downward without slowing.

"Ah!"

"Ah!"

Master Roshi and Krillin were struck by the Ki Blast. Its immense force drove them backward toward Bulma and the others.

"Ah!" Bulma crouched on the ground, trembling as she held Wang Sheng and Son Gohan tightly.

I have to protect Mom! Wang Sheng remembered his father telling him to protect her.

Krillin and Master Roshi shut their eyes, waiting to die. Then the immense pressure on them vanished. There was no explosion as they had expected. When they came to their senses, they saw the Ki Blast suspended in midair.

"Th-this..." Krillin suddenly noticed a small figure squeezed between the two of them, one tender little hand pressed against the Ki Blast.
