"I will not surrender! My dad is super strong, you can't beat my dad!" Wang Sheng shouted. In his heart, his father was the greatest and most powerful person in the world.

"And my dad too! My dad is also very strong, you can't beat my dad either," Gohan added, shouting from the side.

"Damn it!"

Vegeta flew into a rage, veins bulging on his forehead. As the proud Prince of the Saiyans, to be told he was inferior to low-class warriors—even if it came from the mouths of children—was an act of supreme disrespect.

"Your fathers... they aren't the same person?"

Vegeta suppressed his rising fury, looking at the two children as he asked.

"Of course not! My dad is named Wang Yang, and Gohan's dad is named Goku. They definitely aren't the same person," Wang Sheng replied as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

Could there be another Saiyan? Vegeta felt a flicker of doubt, though he recalled that if Raditz hadn't told him, he wouldn't have known that another Saiyan, Kakarot, was still alive.

Perhaps this Wang Yang is just like Kakarot, a low-class warrior sent away when he was young.

"Nappa, teach them a lesson." Vegeta commanded the hulking giant.

"Yes, Prince Vegeta! Let me see the power levels of you Earthlings." Nappa pressed the button on his scouter.

Gohan: 901. Wang Sheng: 985. Piccolo: 1200. Krillin: 996. Tien Shinhan: 1001.

"All of you are idiots. You think you can fight me with power levels like that? I'll let the Saibamen play with you instead!" Nappa sneered. He pulled six seeds from his pocket, planted them in the soil, and dripped a special nutrient solution over them. Soon, six green Saibamen emerged.

Unfortunately, Nappa did not know that Earthlings could suppress their power levels.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

The phone rang. Wang Yang glanced at it and saw it was a call from Bulma.

"It's Bulma calling," Goku said, leaning over to peek at the caller ID.

Bam!

Wang Yang applied a slight pressure with his right hand, and the phone was instantly crushed to pieces.

"Why did you break the phone?" Goku asked, looking puzzled.

"She's just worried about Wang Sheng's safety and wants me to go resolve the situation with those two Saiyans. At home, she calls the shots, but when it comes to how Wang Sheng is trained out here, I decide," Wang Yang said in a flat tone.

Goku chuckled, feeling as though he had found a kindred spirit.

At Kame House, a group of people sat in front of the television, watching Wang Sheng and the others battle the brutal Saiyans.

"Bulma, how is it? Did Wang Yang pick up?"

"That damn Wang Yang, he actually won't answer my call!" Bulma grabbed Oolong by the ears and hammered her fist into his head.

"Ow!"

"Wait until I get home, I'll show you!" Bulma raged, her hands moving relentlessly, leaving Oolong covered in bumps within seconds.

Facing the furious Bulma, Oolong didn't dare utter a word of protest.

On the plane, Goku's expression suddenly shifted, and he sat up straight.

"Yamcha's energy... it's gone?"

"Mm," Wang Yang responded coldly.

"Damn it! I shouldn't have just sat by and watched," Goku shouted. They had agreed to let the boys train, but now that someone had fallen, he suddenly felt a wave of regret.

"Chiaotzu?"

"He's dead too."

"Damn it!" Goku stood up, ready to ignore everything and fly to the battlefield. In the end, he couldn't harden his heart the way Wang Yang could.

"Goku, since they are already dead, going over there now won't change anything. Besides, we have the Dragon Balls; everyone who died will eventually be resurrected," Wang Yang said, quickly stopping him.

In truth, he was deeply conflicted. He was worried about his son's safety, yet he feared that if he intervened in everything as a father, Wang Sheng would become dependent and never truly grow up.

Goku paced back and forth on the plane, looking restless and anxious.

Before long, the plane finally landed on a mountain peak.

Wang Yang and Goku stepped off the plane and stood behind a rock, silently observing the battle in the distance.

On the battlefield, the bald giant Nappa was wreaking havoc; Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Piccolo, and the others were no match for him.

Watching Nappa's brutal combat and thinking of the deaths of Yamcha and Chiaotzu, Gohan and Wang Sheng felt terrified, trembling as they hid behind a boulder.

They were, after all, only five-year-old children; they were not yet mature, and it was only human nature to feel fear, especially when one retreated and the other followed suit.

"Wang Sheng, that man is so scary!" Gohan said to Wang Sheng beside him, his voice stuttering.

"He... he is very scary, very brutal." Wang Sheng swallowed hard.

In the distance, Wang Yang and Son Goku witnessed the two little ones playing the deserter at a critical moment. They exchanged a glance, feeling a bit awkward, and both looked away, signaling that it had nothing to do with them.

Thwack!

Nappa's thick fist slammed into Tien Shinhan's stomach, sending him flying until he crashed into a small hill not far from Wang Sheng and Gohan.

"Uncle Tien!" Seeing Tien Shinhan lying on the ground motionless, the two little ones hurriedly and cautiously ran over.

"Why haven't you two come over to fight yet!" Piccolo roared in anger the moment he spotted the two children.

After a year of painstaking training, they had actually run away when the decisive battle arrived; Piccolo was so furious his nose was nearly crooked.

"What do we do?" Krillin wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said to Piccolo.

"Truly useless!" Piccolo gritted his teeth, glaring at the two little ones below.

"Don't get cocky. Son Goku and Wang Yang will definitely appear, and when they do, you'll get what's coming to you." Krillin was beginning to feel despair; this Nappa was simply ridiculously strong.

"If they are so powerful, why haven't they shown up yet?" Nappa hovered in the air and shouted loudly.

"They must have seen me arrive and were so scared they ran off Earth without their sons." Not far away, Vegeta heard Krillin's words and burst into laughter. He felt this must be the truth; which Saiyan wouldn't be afraid upon seeing the Prince of all Saiyans?

"That's not true! My dad will definitely show up!" Wang Sheng said with some anger, clenching his small fists and glaring at Vegeta.

"My dad will definitely come," Gohan also shouted loudly.

"If you believe in them so much, then I will wait for them to arrive. However, I will give you three hours." Vegeta arrogantly held up three fingers.

The battle paused!

While waiting, Krillin and Piccolo found Gohan and Wang Sheng, who were still hiding.

The two little ones hung their heads in shame.

"This isn't their fault. After all, they are still young, and this is their first time on the battlefield; it's inevitable to feel some fear." Krillin patted their heads sympathetically. When he was their age, he was still being bullied by his seniors at Orin Temple and didn't dare to fight back.

"I thought you two would have some backbone, but it seems I was being naive. I don't want to see you here anymore. You should just go back and find your mothers; this battle doesn't need you." Piccolo crossed his arms, his voice cold.

Piccolo was harsh in words but soft in heart. Although Gohan was disappointing, after a year of living together, he held a very special place in his heart, and he hoped Gohan would leave quickly to save his life.

The two little ones pursed their lips, refusing to leave.

Three hours passed quickly.

"Three hours are up. Those two Saiyan traitors still haven't appeared. It seems they really are cowards!" Nappa laughed heartily.

"My dad is not a coward!" Wang Sheng was very angry. Since he was young, he felt his father was omnipotent, and naturally, he would not allow them to slander him.

"They actually didn't appear? They dare to toy with me?" The expression of anger on Vegeta's face grew more intense.

"Nappa, do it!" Vegeta commanded Nappa.

He no longer wanted to recruit the two children; he wanted to let these people know how terrifying the rage of the Saiyan Prince could be.

"Alright, Vegeta." Hearing this, Nappa cracked his knuckles, a savage grin appearing on his face as he stepped toward Gohan.

"Oh dear, why haven't Wang Yang and Son Goku appeared yet? This is truly terrifying." Krillin had waited until he felt hopeless; how could they possibly be a match for these two?

"Son Goku, if I die, you must use the Dragon Ball to revive me!"

Wang Yang subconsciously glanced at Son Goku and found him tense, his eyes fixed on the battlefield without blinking, as if he might strike at any moment.

"What did you say? You can be revived after death?" Vegeta's ears were sharp; hearing Krillin's words, he was immediately surprised and hurriedly pressed for an answer.

"Hmph!" Krillin was very tough at this moment; he turned his head away and ignored Vegeta.

"Good! Good! Good! You actually dare to ignore me." Vegeta called out "good" three times, the veins on his forehead throbbing.

"He is going to kill you now. If you don't want to be killed by him, you must not be afraid, understand? Your power is very great. As long as you aren't afraid, you can defeat this hateful guy," Krillin said earnestly to the two little ones.

"Mm!"

"I won't be afraid!"

The two nodded in unison.

"Charge!"

The battle was on the verge of breaking out. Krillin and Piccolo exchanged a glance and charged at Nappa simultaneously.

"Wang Sheng?" Gohan looked at Wang Sheng beside him.

"Charge!" Wang Sheng gritted his teeth, stomped his foot, and rushed forward.

"Right!" Seeing Wang Sheng charge, Gohan felt as if he had received great encouragement, and gritting his teeth, he followed closely behind.

"That's my boy, Gohan!" In the distance, Son Goku saw Gohan finally overcome his fear and couldn't help but clap in praise.

"He's just so-so. When I was born, I was already in a life-or-death battle!" Wang Yang said this, but his gaze remained fixed on Wang Sheng.

"A life-or-death battle at birth? Is that for real? When Gohan was just born, he was very weak." Son Goku looked at Wang Yang in confusion. He didn't have memories of his own birth, but he had witnessed Gohan's birth firsthand; the boy had been so fragile he was afraid he might break his arm if he used even a little bit of force.

"When I was just born, my combat power was 5001—a bit weaker than that bald guy!" Wang Yang's tone was flat, but there seemed to be a flicker of light in his eyes.

When he first opened his eyes, he hadn't understood the language the Saiyans spoke, but once he mastered the tongue and recalled those words, their meaning became instantly clear.

"What?" Son Goku's eyes nearly popped out of his head. Watching Nappa toss Piccolo around the battlefield, he looked at Wang Yang in shock. "You were this powerful from the moment you were born?"

"Sigh! There were three of us born at the same time: you, me, and another named Broly. Your combat power was only 2, mine was 5,001, and then there was Broly, whose birth combat power was 10,000." Wang Yang kept his gaze on the battlefield while speaking to Son Goku.

On the battlefield, Wang Sheng went from being flustered at the start to gradually adapting to the rhythm of the fight, the power within him rising steadily.

Thinking of the gap between himself and Wang Yang, Son Goku felt a bit embarrassed; the difference was truly massive. Yet, reflecting on his own arduous training over the years, he realized he had caught up to Wang Yang, and a sense of accomplishment welled up in his heart.

It doesn't matter if my birth power was low. As long as I work hard, I will definitely catch up, Son Goku thought to himself, clenching his fists.

"Because your combat power was too low at birth, you were sent to Earth. As for me and Broly, King Vegeta saw our power was too high and feared we would threaten his position, so he sent men to kill us both."

Wang Yang pointed toward Vegeta.

"Broly was stabbed while he was sleeping. I happened to witness it, so I took Broly and fought my way out of the encirclement."

"And then?" Son Goku asked hurriedly.

"Afterward, I intended to find a spaceship to leave, but the planet was under attack and about to explode."

"Then how did you survive the planet's explosion?" Son Goku asked curiously.

"I was lucky enough to be quick-witted; I grabbed onto Broly and wouldn't let go. When the planet exploded, Broly sensed the danger and instinctively generated a Protective Barrier, carrying us safely into space." Wang Yang's tone was wistful; if not for Broly, he would have had to be reincarnated all over again.

"That is truly despicable." Hearing Wang Yang's story, Son Goku felt a lingering fear mixed with extreme anger. To be able to lay a hand on such small children—it was simply inhumane.

The Saiyans were truly an incredibly brutal and evil race.

"Even after all these years, even though Planet Vegeta has been destroyed and King Vegeta is dead, I still feel uneasy whenever I think about what happened back then." Wang Yang sighed. This was one of the reasons why he had been determined to win over Bulma after learning her identity.

"Oh, I didn't expect you to still be holding onto that after all these years. You really are narrow-minded." Son Goku winked at Wang Yang.

Looking at Son Goku's innocent, smiling face, Wang Yang couldn't help but be slightly stunned. For Son Goku, there were no grudges that needed to be remembered for a lifetime.

In the original story, even when Vegeta or Frieza killed his companions, Son Goku would choose to forgive them and spare their lives after defeating them.

Thinking of Bulma's smile and the adorable appearance of his son, the resentment in Wang Yang's heart gradually dissipated in the face of Son Goku's smile.

Now that he had a happy and fulfilling life, and with King Vegeta suffering in hell, he truly had no need to dwell on the past any longer.

Let it be wiped clean! Wang Yang thought to himself as he looked at the arrogant posture of Vegeta in the distance.

At that very moment, Wang Yang felt a sudden sense of relief in his spirit, as if dust had been wiped from a mirror. The connection between his soul and body became more intimate, and his control over his physical form became even more precise.
