"What immense power." King Kai clung to a large tree, shivering.
High above, two streaks of light—one white, one red—collided at extreme speeds, only to instantly break apart. They began to zip around King Kai's Planet, darting back and forth at high velocity. The entire sky above the planet became crisscrossed with these two beams, resembling a red-and-white spiderweb.
The two engaged in a rapid-fire exchange, a continuous barrage of dense, rhythmic impacts echoing through the air as the battle intensified.
"Fivefold!"
The aura surrounding Son Goku surged, an overwhelming pressure flooding the entire planet.
The whole of King Kai's Planet began to vibrate violently, as if it were on the verge of shattering at any moment.
"Ah! Ah! Ah! My planet is going to be destroyed!" King Kai felt the ground trembling beneath him and shrieked while clutching the tree trunk.
BOOM!
Their fists slammed into each other, and an energy storm erupted, sweeping across the surroundings with the force of a landslide. The once lush and fragrant King Kai's Planet looked as if it had been plowed through, with the very soil beneath the surface churned up.
I was holding my own against Wang Yang with the twofold King Kai's Fist, but even after unleashing the fivefold, I'm still just evenly matched with him. Wang Yang's power always seems to be neck-and-neck with mine; could he be hiding his true strength just like me? In the heat of the battle, Son Goku couldn't help but wonder.
"Losing focus while fighting me?" Seeing Son Goku's movements falter for a split second, Wang Yang seized the opportunity, throwing a punch into his chest that sent him flying backward, doubled over.
"Tenfold!" Not long after being sent flying, Son Goku let out a sudden roar. The red aura around him surged even more violently, instantly halting his retreat before he charged back toward Wang Yang.
King Kai's Fist really is a magnificent technique! Wang Yang thought to himself, watching the red light erupt from Son Goku's body.
Seeing Son Goku closing in at high speed, Wang Yang's own aura suddenly expanded significantly, and he threw a punch toward him.
BOOM!
Their fists met, and their figures became visible in the air once more.
The two remained locked in a stalemate, veins bulging on their foreheads as they gritted their teeth, each gripping the other's hand in a test of strength.
On one side was Son Goku, his body wreathed in a surging red aura, looking immensely powerful. On the other was Wang Yang, his aura contained, appearing perfectly ordinary.
The entire King Kai's Planet shook frantically, and countless bolts of lightning manifested out of thin air. The plump King Kai even lost his grip and tumbled off the tree.
"Ouch!"
At that moment, the red aura around Son Goku grew even more vivid, as if it were about to bleed, and his energy spiked sharply.
"Twen—"
"Stop! Both of you, stop right now!" King Kai scrambled over in a panic, rolling and crawling toward them, waving his arms frantically at the two figures in the sky.
"If you don't stop, my planet is going to be destroyed by you two!"
Wang Yang and Son Goku were slightly taken aback by King Kai's words. Looking at the barren, desolate landscape around them, they exchanged a glance and simultaneously withdrew their power.
Son Goku's red aura faded, and he stood in place, gasping for air. Suddenly, he noticed Wang Yang standing opposite him, not even winded, and couldn't help but pause in surprise.
"You still haven't used your full strength?" Son Goku jumped up, pointing a finger at Wang Yang and shouting.
"Of course I used my full strength. My physique is just exceptionally sturdy, and my stamina is quite enduring. Don't let my relaxed appearance fool you; the ki inside me is nearly exhausted as well," Wang Yang replied with a laugh, looking at the somewhat disheveled Son Goku.
"Really?" Son Goku was skeptical; it seemed like he said that every single time they finished a sparring match.
"Truer than true."
He had spent twenty years tempering his body, day in and day out, resulting in an incredibly powerful physique. He figured that even if he were to engage in a war of attrition with the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, Broly might not be able to outlast him—provided, of course, that Broly's power didn't continue to rise during the fight.
King Kai's Fist really is a magnificent technique! Wang Yang thought, looking at Son Goku with a faint smile. Before one could transform into a Super Saiyan, this technique was nothing short of divine.
Especially with his own robust physique; if he were to master the King Kai's Fist, the amplification he could achieve would surely far exceed Son Goku's.
"Heh! Hahaha! Hahaha..." Hearing Wang Yang praise his signature technique, King Kai first offered a reserved smile, but eventually, he couldn't hold it in any longer, clutching his stomach and laughing heartily.
"Goku, I noticed you didn't seem to be going all out just now!" Wang Yang said, eyeing the grinning Son Goku opposite him.
"No, no, that was pretty much my full strength." Hearing this, Son Goku jumped up, waving his hands and shaking his head like a rattle.
Keep pretending, go ahead and pretend! Wang Yang raised an eyebrow. In his view, Son Goku's body hadn't reached its limit yet; he could have pushed the King Kai's Fist even further. Besides, he was fairly certain he had heard Son Goku about to shout "twentyfold" just a moment ago.
Twentyfold King Kai's Fist... I'd really have a hard time handling that.
Wang Yang muttered to himself.
"Wang Yang, what did you come to find me for?" Son Goku quickly changed the subject.
"It's like this. A year ago, your brother Raditz..." Wang Yang recounted the events to Son Goku.
"Saiyans? Is this new enemy strong?" Son Goku had sparred with Wang Yang frequently over the years and had learned a bit about the Saiyans from him, so he wasn't particularly surprised by the arrival of his brother, Raditz. But hearing about a new enemy, he couldn't help but feel his hands itching for a fight.
"How strong?" Wang Yang scratched his head. This was hard to compare; numerical combat power was a very foreign concept to Son Goku.
Suddenly, Wang Yang spotted the chubby King Kai, and his eyes lit up.
"About as strong as King Kai!"
"Huh? Only as strong as King Kai?" Son Goku asked, surprised. King Kai was quite weak; he could defeat him with one finger—or maybe two.
"Son Goku, you jerk!"
"What do you mean by that? Are you looking down on this old man?"
Hearing Son Goku belittle him as if he were an easy target, King Kai reacted like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, jumping up and roaring at Son Goku.
"Haha, I misspoke! King Kai is truly amazing. I owe my current strength entirely to King Kai's guidance," Son Goku quickly apologized with a sheepish grin.
"Hmph! Glad you know it, this old man is quite formidable." Hearing Son Goku's words, King Kai immediately put on an expression of 'a student worth teaching.'
Son Goku took the opportunity to tell a few cold jokes to amuse King Kai.
Under King Kai's warm hospitality, Wang Yang and his companion had a hearty meal on King Kai's Planet before standing on the repaired lawn, full of energy.
"We're heading off now, we'll come visit you again when we have time, King Kai." Son Goku waved his arms at King Kai, and immediately after, Wang Yang activated Instant Transmission, and the two figures vanished from King Kai's Planet.
That guy Goku has improved his strength so much; I imagine there are few people in the universe who can surpass him now. King Kai looked up at the tranquil sky, as if he could see Goku grinning at him, and King Kai couldn't help but laugh out loud.
He felt extremely proud to have trained such a powerful disciple as Goku.
Next time we meet, I'll take Goku out to see the world!
At the edge of the plaza on Kami's Lookout, Kami gripped his staff, looking down at the white clouds below with a grave expression; his gaze seemed to pierce through layers of clouds to see any location on Earth.
Without a sound, Wang Yang and his companion appeared behind Kami.
"Hi! Kami." Son Goku laughed and patted Kami on the shoulder.
"Hm? So you've returned, Goku." Kami was startled, but when he saw Goku's bright smile, the worry in his heart vanished without a trace, and a smile couldn't help but appear on his aged face.
It seemed that as long as Goku was around, the enemy could be defeated.
"Goku, Wang Yang, two powerful and evil Saiyans have invaded this time, and everyone has rushed over there. Wang Sheng and Gohan have already gone as well. I'm afraid they are no match for the two Saiyans, so please go and help them quickly," Kami said urgently to the two.
"Don't worry, Kami. With us here, everyone will be fine!" Son Goku patted his chest and said confidently.
Just as Son Goku was about to raise his energy to fly toward a place with strong ki, Wang Yang suddenly pressed his hand onto his shoulder.
Son Goku looked at Wang Yang in confusion, not understanding why he was stopping him.
"Goku, these two Saiyans are no problem for us at all, but don't you think this is a great training opportunity for Wang Sheng and Gohan?" Wang Yang looked into the distance, as if he could see Wang Sheng's feigned toughness on the battlefield.
"That seems to make sense." Son Goku rubbed his chin, lost in thought.
He also hoped his son could become an outstanding warrior, and intense combat was the best way to cultivate someone.
"Ah! Goku, you two shouldn't joke around. Those two Saiyans are extremely powerful; how could Gohan and the others possibly be their match?" Hearing Wang Yang's words, Kami, who was standing to the side, felt his entire being go into a panic, jumping up and shouting at the two.
"It won't work, it won't work. If that's the case, won't everyone be in great danger?" Son Goku also thought of some issues at this moment and shook his head.
If it meant letting everyone die in battle just to train his son, he would never agree to it under any circumstances.
"It's fine, we have Shenron anyway," Wang Yang waved his hand dismissively.
"What about Chiaotzu and Krillin? They've already died once, so even Shenron can't revive them. And Piccolo—if he dies, Kami will disappear too, and Shenron will be useless," Son Goku continued to press.
Kami's aged face nodded repeatedly, indicating his agreement.
"Don't worry, Earth isn't the only place with a Shenron. Kami's home planet, Namek, also has a Shenron, and the one over there can grant three wishes," Wang Yang laughed.
"Is that so!" Hearing this, Son Goku was no longer nervous, and his face seemed somewhat moved.
"So I really am not from Earth!" Hearing Wang Yang's words, Kami was momentarily dazed and muttered to himself. He had long discovered that he was different from Earthlings and had suspected in his heart that he might not be from Earth.
"Goku, what kind of person do you want Gohan to become in the future?" Wang Yang asked.
"Chi-Chi wants Gohan to study hard, while I want him to be an excellent martial artist." Son Goku rubbed his chin and thought seriously. "But if Chi-Chi finds out I'm training Gohan, she'll definitely be very angry."
"Goku, listening to your wife at home is correct, but you don't have to listen when you're out. Besides, they can't see you, right!" Wang Yang looked at Goku with a smile.
He had said this to Goku many times; otherwise, Goku wouldn't have frequently brought Gohan to his place to 'play.'
"Hehe!" A mysterious smile appeared on Son Goku's face.
"The appearance of these two Saiyans is the perfect chance for them to have a real battle."
Kami, standing to the side, heard that they truly didn't intend to intervene and was instantly panicked, feeling very uneasy.
If the two evil Saiyans could be defeated by his own child, wouldn't that just prove how formidable he was as a father?
Boom!
Wang Yang threw a Hoi-Poi Capsule, and as the smoke cleared, an airplane appeared on the plaza of Kami's Lookout.
"Get on, let me show you my flying skills," Wang Yang said to Goku.
"Alrighty!"
Watching the plane fly further and further away, Kami remained on edge, the beads of sweat on his forehead refusing to dissipate.
"Kami!" Mr. Popo's expression remained unchanged as always.
"Goku, suppress your ki. Don't let them discover us, otherwise, if they sense our arrival, they won't fight with everything they've got," Wang Yang said to Goku while pushing the plane to its maximum speed.
"Got it!"
The plane dove vertically, and before long, it hovered at the level of Korin.
"Master Korin, hello!" Son Goku smiled and greeted Korin.
"Master Korin, do you have any more Senzu Beans? Give me a jar!" Wang Yang poked his head out and smiled at the white cat, Korin.
"It's you guys again. Do you think Senzu Beans are that easy to grow? All the beans I've grown over these years have been scavenged by you, and now there isn't a single one left. By the way, Yajirobe still has three Senzu Beans hidden on him; go find him and take them." As soon as Korin saw Wang Yang, his head started to ache. The Senzu Beans he had worked so hard to grow over the years had basically all ended up in Wang Yang's pockets, to the point where even Yajirobe could only hide them sneakily.
Wang Yang chuckled; if he didn't take them, they would just end up in that fat guy Yajirobe's stomach anyway, so Wang Yang took them with a clear conscience.
"Goku, seeing you show up, I don't have to worry about those two Saiyans anymore," Korin said with a smile upon seeing Goku on the plane.
"Have all those who aren't afraid of death gathered?" The short Vegeta stood atop a massive boulder, looking down at the group below with a cold, indifferent smile.
"Where is Kakarot? Why isn't he here? Did he hide away out of fear?" Vegeta laughed heartily, his expression wildly arrogant.
"You mean Goku? He's still training with King Kai and hasn't returned yet." As Krillin said this, he couldn't help but complain inwardly: the Earth is about to be destroyed by these evil guys, how can you still be training?
"Hmph!"
Vegeta let out a cold snort.
"Hey! What are you two doing on Earth? Could it be that you've come to avenge your comrade?" Piccolo's expression was grave.
"That trash Raditz died, so what? Is he even worth me avenging him?" Vegeta was deeply disdainful; such a combat power couldn't even compare to a Saibaman, he was simply a disgrace to the Saiyans.
"You two brats, I'll give you a chance. As long as you bring your father to surrender to me and slaughter all the humans on Earth, I will spare your pathetic lives." Vegeta crossed his arms over his chest, looking down at Wang Sheng and Gohan with haughty arrogance.
