With no other choice, Ye Ming had to risk everything. He let out a mighty roar. "20x Kaioken!"
In an instant, a terrifying aura erupted from Ye Ming, and his battle power surged several times over.
Beerus was stunned. He could still unleash even greater power!
Gritting his teeth, he said to Ye Ming, "You can still bring out this much power? I really underestimated you, Ye Ming. But your stamina will plummet. I can tell that this technique won't damage your body, but it will rapidly drain your stamina."
Ye Ming replied, "If I don't give it everything now, when will I? I'll do whatever it takes to defeat you!"
Controlling the Hakai Energy, Beerus said, "You've got guts, thinking you can defeat me. But unfortunately, even with power like that, you still can't beat me."
Ye Ming's Kamehameha pushed the God of Destruction's energy back. Beerus had already unleashed all his power in this form.
Suddenly, Beerus said to Ye Ming, "Then I'll show you the true power of a god!"
In the blink of an eye, a rainbow-colored glow appeared around Beerus. His eyes gradually turned silver, and the fur on his body began to shift toward the same color.
A sacred aura rose from Beerus. That's right—it was Ultra Instinct.
On Earth, Whis, the God of Destruction's attendant, saw Beerus use Ultra Instinct, and the corners of his mouth lifted slightly.
"It seems Lord Beerus has brought out all his power, giving Ye Ming the utmost respect," Whis murmured.
The Z Fighters also noticed the change in Beerus and asked Whis, "Beerus has taken on some strange form! What is that?"
Hearing their confusion, Whis explained, "Lord Beerus is using a divine technique called Ultra Instinct. It's a skill that only Angels can master. However, Lord Beerus's Ultra Instinct still has flaws; it isn't perfect. Even so, it has undoubtedly given his strength an enormous boost. Ye Ming may be in danger."
After hearing Whis's explanation, everyone understood that this was an unfathomably profound technique, and their anxiety only grew.
Ye Ming also noticed the change in Beerus across from him. Realizing that Beerus had used Ultra Instinct, his expression turned grave.
The Destruction Sphere was about to reach Beerus and defeat him. But once Beerus used Ultra Instinct, the whole situation changed.
Silver light flashed in Beerus's eyes, and the Destruction Sphere shot toward Ye Ming at incredible speed.
Seeing that things had gone badly, Ye Ming hurriedly dodged. Just as the Destruction Sphere was about to reach him, he immediately used Instant Transmission to move somewhere else.
A swirling void appeared where he had been. All the surrounding meteorites had been reduced to cosmic dust.
Ye Ming let out a long breath. That had been incredibly close! If he'd been hit in his condition, he would have been badly wounded at best.
Beerus was surprised, too. Ye Ming had dodged that attack. He'd used the God of Destruction's Instant Transmission technique. Beerus narrowed his eyes and quickly pieced together what had happened.
Still, he didn't give it a second thought. With Ultra Instinct boosting his power, he was now several levels stronger. Ye Ming couldn't compare.
Beerus smiled at Ye Ming. "Looks like this fight will be over soon. Still, I acknowledge your strength, Ye Ming. You forced me to use Ultra Instinct. You have every right to be proud."
Ye Ming listened and replied, "It's almost over? I disagree!"
Beerus's smile vanished, and he said seriously, "You still have hidden power you haven't shown me? Bring it out. Let me see!"
With Ultra Instinct, Beerus looked completely at ease. A Beerus who possessed both Ultra Instinct and Hakai Energy was practically invincible.
He didn't believe for a moment that Ye Ming had any way to defeat him! But in the end, he was wrong. Ye Ming could use Ultra Instinct, too.
Ye Ming asked the system, "Whose Ultra Instinct is stronger, Beerus's or mine?"
The system replied, "Compared to Beerus's Ultra Instinct, your aura is more complete."
"Ultra Instinct is a technique originally mastered by the Angels, though perhaps other powerful beings have mastered it as well. It is a divine technique! Beerus's mastery is imperfect, although he has come very close to reaching that realm."
"But even that final barrier may take Beerus countless years to break through."
After hearing the system's explanation, Ye Ming nodded in agreement. It was just as he had expected.
If I show the rudiments of Ultra Instinct, I might shock Beerus or even the gods! He had sensed someone watching him for some time. The feeling seemed to come from beyond the universe. (Once the protagonist reached a certain level of strength, he could sense others watching him.)

Whis stood up, shocked. "That's the aura of Ultra Instinct. There's no doubt about it! It's still imperfect, but how did he learn it? This is a realm even the gods can barely reach. Only Angels can master it completely!"
Far away, on Planet of Destruction in Universe 6, Champa had already broken into a cold sweat at the sight. "He can use Ultra Instinct? My god, how did he learn it? Ye Ming's Ultra Instinct isn't perfect, but it's incredibly close."
Beside him, Vados was also astonished. "Ye Ming is still so young, yet he mastered it in such a short time. Could Whis have taught him? That's impossible!"
In Universe 11, Vermoud watched the scene, his jaw hanging open. "He can use the rudiments of Ultra Instinct? H-how can that be? It's impossible! That's a technique even Gods of Destruction struggle to comprehend."
The scene was playing out before the eyes of the various universes, and they were all utterly shocked!
Outside Zeno's Palace, the Grand Priest watched Ye Ming closely and said softly, "To learn even Ultra Instinct with such ease... This visitor from another universe is truly extraordinary! His potential far exceeds my expectations!"
The Grand Priest was only briefly surprised that Ye Ming could use Ultra Instinct. He didn't say much more, since even this was ordinary to him.
Beerus's expression across from him was dark. He glared at Ye Ming with his enormous cat eyes and asked, "How did you learn Ultra Instinct?"
"Oh, so that's what this is called? Ultra Instinct?" Ye Ming replied, pretending he'd only just found out.
"I understand now. I've been able to calm my mind for a long time, and somehow I learned this technique. Is there a problem, Lord Beerus?"
Beerus's expression was grim. Ye Ming clearly hadn't told him the truth. It was true that training in Ultra Instinct required a calm mind and a certain level of mastery over one's own energy.
But none of that mattered. Beerus wanted to win this fight. He hadn't really intended to destroy Earth; he'd only said it offhand.
During his battle with Ye Ming, Beerus had already come to acknowledge Ye Ming's strength, so there was no need to fight him to the death.
But he was the strongest God of Destruction in the twelve universes. If he failed to defeat Ye Ming, the other universes might laugh at him.
After all, it would be ridiculous for a god to fail to defeat a mortal!
On Earth, Whis clearly saw Beerus's expression change.
