In Universe 7, after a series of earth-shaking tremors, Ye Ming completed his transformation into Super Saiyan 4.
His entire body radiated dazzling light, and an aura as brilliant as the stars surged around him. His eyes gleamed with vigor.
Ye Ming stared at Beerus and said, "Lord Beerus, are you satisfied with this form?"
Beerus was taken aback. He stood up, after all, he was a god and had to maintain his dignity.
He said, "I didn't expect you to have such tremendous power hidden away. I underestimated you earlier. I thought Super Saiyan Third Stage was your limit." Beerus spoke calmly with his hands behind his back.
Meanwhile, the Z Fighters on Earth were anything but calm. "Good heavens, is this Ye Ming's true power? His aura is like an unfathomable abyss!"
Son Goku and Vegeta felt a huge sense of disparity. They hadn't expected Ye Ming to have such tremendous power hidden away, and he had never shown it to them before.
But what they didn't know was that Ye Ming had only gained this power after sparring with Beerus. He hadn't been deliberately keeping it secret.
"Super Saiyan 4? Ye Ming really did keep his strength well hidden," Vegeta said with a frown.
What Vegeta was really thinking was that he hadn't expected Super Saiyan 4 to come after Super Saiyan Third Stage. He had thought Super Saiyan Third Stage was the end of the line.
Meanwhile, Goku said excitedly, "Wahaha, Vegeta, I had no idea there was a Super Saiyan 4 transformation! That's amazing!"
Vegeta snorted. "Kakarot, I'll become a Super Saiyan 4 before you do."
Vegeta had already mastered the Super Saiyan Third Stage transformation during these past three years. Now that he had a new path ahead of him, he was determined to surpass Ye Ming.
Son Goku said, "All right, then! Let's work hard together! Super Saiyan 4 sounds incredibly powerful."
Vegeta immediately shot back, "Even if you master Super Saiyan 4, you still won't be a match for Beerus. Only Ye Ming's Super Saiyan 4 can contend with him."
Goku scratched his head. "But it'll still make us stronger, won't it? I never said I was going to beat Beerus!"
After that, Vegeta ignored Son Goku.
Back on the battlefield, Beerus looked at Ye Ming's imposing aura and felt considerable pressure.
"Now that's more like it. This is what makes a fight interesting," Beerus said, licking his lips.
Ye Ming spread his hands. "Then let's continue, Lord Beerus!"
Suddenly, Beerus roared as purple energy surged around him. This was Hakai Energy, and a terrifying aura of destruction emanated from him.
Ye Ming hurriedly raised both hands to defend himself. Beerus is far stronger than I imagined. Even if I fight at full power as a Super Saiyan 4, it'll be difficult to take him down.

The battle began. Beerus attacked first, but Ye Ming wasn't afraid. He felt as if he had boundless power and met Beerus head-on.
The force of a single punch tore open numerous rifts in space, its momentum showing no sign of slowing.
They fought one another in space at incredible speeds, clashing more than ten times every second. Their rapid exchanges of offense and defense left the Z Fighters dazzled.
"This is incredible! So this is what a battle between Ye Ming and Lord Beerus looks like? It really puts our own weakness into perspective," Son Gohan said.
Whis explained, "You can see the gap between them, but Ye Ming is still only a mortal. Yet he's challenging Lord Beerus with nothing but mortal power, and his strength has already surpassed that of an ordinary God of Destruction."
"Does Ye Ming have a chance of beating Beerus?" everyone quickly asked Whis.
Whis shook his head. "The battle has only just begun. For now, Ye Ming should have the upper hand, but Beerus will gradually unleash more of his power. After that, it's hard to say how things will turn out."
After hearing Whis's answer, everyone looked grave. They silently cheered Ye Ming on.
Back on the battlefield, Ye Ming suddenly powered up and charged at Beerus, pummeling him with one punch after another.
Beerus felt the tremendous force behind those blows. He wiped his mouth, then roared, his aura growing even stronger.
He charged toward Ye Ming at incredible speed. Ye Ming immediately responded, but Beerus caught him off guard and struck him squarely in the abdomen, sending him flying into a field of meteorites.
Thud!
Ye Ming lay among the meteorites, then immediately got back to his feet. "Lord Beerus, punches like that can't do me any serious harm."
Beerus smiled faintly. "Is that so?"
Beerus formed a ball of Hakai Energy as large as a meteorite in his hand and hurled it at Ye Ming.
Beerus gathered energy incredibly quickly. Ye Ming had no choice but to take the attack head-on.
The moment Ye Ming's hands touched the ball of Hakai Energy, he felt his own energy draining rapidly. If this goes on, my energy will be depleted, and I'll be swallowed up by the Hakai Energy.
Ye Ming raised his aura even further. With a roar, he unleashed his full energy.
The ball of Hakai Energy exploded under the force of his immense power, and Beerus looked momentarily surprised.
When the smoke cleared, Beerus saw Ye Ming panting heavily and grinned with excitement.
"Not bad. You destroyed my energy ball and still had the strength to get back up. Looks like you're now on par with an ordinary God of Destruction," Beerus said.
Hearing Beerus's words, Ye Ming straightened up. "I told you, Lord Beerus. I'm going to show you the power of a mortal."
As he spoke, Ye Ming used Instant Transmission to appear behind Beerus, then slammed a powerful punch into him!
Beerus couldn't dodge in time. The punch landed squarely on his waist, and he spat out a mouthful of bile as he plummeted toward the meteorite field below.
At that moment, Ye Ming formed a Kamehameha in his hands, and a powerful wave of energy burst forth.
Beerus couldn't dodge in time and could only block it with both hands.
Boom!!!
Ye Ming poured even more power into the attack. Suddenly, he heard a roar and unleashed a tremendous burst of energy.
The entire meteorite field around Beerus exploded. Ye Ming finally stopped his energy wave and panted heavily. He had poured too much power into the attack and was somewhat drained.
As the smoke cleared, they saw several injuries on Beerus's body. There was even blood on his right hand.
Beerus said nothing. He roared and charged at Ye Ming, now using one hundred percent of his power. He moved so fast that Ye Ming couldn't react in time.
A vicious punch slammed into Ye Ming's face. He cried out in pain, hurtled away, and spat out a mouthful of blood.
Beerus gave Ye Ming no chance to catch his breath. He pursued him with a relentless flurry of punches and kicks, completely forcing him onto the defensive.
Suddenly, Beerus formed a wave of Hakai Energy in his hand and hurled it at Ye Ming.
Ye Ming opened his eyes and saw an enormous Destruction Sphere hurtling toward him. It had locked onto him, leaving him no way to escape.
Then I have no choice but to meet it head-on.
Ye Ming powered up, a terrifying aura radiating from his body as he further increased his energy. He formed another Kamehameha in his hands. Then, with a roar, he hurled the energy wave straight at the Destruction Sphere.
Beerus increased the force of his attack and clashed with Ye Ming's wave using one hand.
Purple energy surged from Beerus as he roared, golden light flashing in his eyes.
The Destruction Sphere pushed toward Ye Ming at a visible pace. As it drew closer and closer, Ye Ming grew increasingly anxious.
Suddenly, he roared, "10x Kaioken!"
Red energy surged from his body, and his power increased at least tenfold.
Beerus's eyes widened at the sight. "You had another trump card!"
Seeing Ye Ming's power multiply, Beerus grew serious. Energy flickered around his entire body as terrifying Hakai Energy continued pouring out of him.
"I wonder how long you can hold out!" Beerus said. He had clearly unleashed his true power as well!
The ball of Hakai Energy and the Kamehameha remained locked in a stalemate, evenly matched.
But Ye Ming knew that if this continued, he would inevitably lose. Beerus was using Hakai Energy, and destruction was his very nature.
Meanwhile, the other universes were watching the battle unfold.
Champa drawled, "I didn't expect Beerus to run into such a tough opponent this time. The way he's straining so hard makes me laugh! Hahaha!"
Vados said beside him, "This Mr. Ye Ming is truly powerful. Even I'm surprised."
Suddenly, Vados looked at Champa with a smile in her eyes. "Lord Champa, you haven't trained in a long time either, have you? I'm afraid you wouldn't be able to beat this mortal if you faced him!"
At once, Champa's ears perked up. He glared angrily at Vados. "You think I couldn't beat him? One blast of Hakai Energy would erase him from existence! Hmph!"
Although Champa's words were defiant, deep down he knew the truth.
Seeing him like that, Vados covered her mouth and giggled.
Champa could only grit his teeth and sulk at the sight of Vados laughing at him.
More than a dozen universes were watching this battle, and of course the Grand Priest, the overseer of the entire multiverse, was among them.
He was also watching the battle through a crystal ball. With a smile, he remarked, "His power is growing quickly, but it's still not enough. Let's see how far you can go."
