Shi Nuo possesses the Great Strength Demon Bull martial soul and innate soul power of rank eight. Though his innate talent was not exceptional, he cultivated hard enough to keep pace with classmates possessing rank-nine innate soul power. 28 110

His martial soul gave him formidable brute force and durability but poor agility. After repeatedly being outmaneuvered in academy battles, Shi Nuo considered adding speed-type soul rings. Lin Beiya persuaded him to instead commit to an extreme strength-and-defense build, supported by physical training, Whale Rubber, and the Taurus Gold Cloth's battle techniques.
