Whis nodded and was just about to wave his staff to initiate the teleportation when he suddenly paused.
"Wait, Lord Beerus."
"How can a magnificent martial arts tournament be without an audience?"
"Why don't we head to Earth first and bring Miss Bulma and the others along?"
"With the cheers and support of an audience, the warriors will be able to unleash even greater power, and the matches will be much more interesting."
Beerus thought it over and felt that Whis made sense; besides, he had other motives, so he nodded in agreement immediately.
"Fine, let's go to Earth first."
For him, there was another important purpose for this trip to Earth—to bring back "a few" Earth delicacies.
The stock they had brought back previously had long since been devoured by the four "black hole stomachs" of Son Goku, Vegeta, Son Gohan, and Lin Fan, and he simply could not accept a life without gourmet food.
Whis smiled and waved his staff, and a soft light enveloped the group.
In the next second, everyone appeared at the Capsule Corporation on Earth.
Bulma, Trunks, and Son Goten were sitting in the courtyard chatting, and they were startled by the sudden appearance of the group.
"Lord Beerus? Lord Whis? And Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Lin Fan!"
Bulma stood up in surprise.
"Why have you all come so suddenly?"
"Bulma, we're going to participate in an inter-universal martial arts tournament!"
Son Goku said excitedly at once.
"Come be our audience and see the powerhouses from other universes together!"
"An inter-universal martial arts tournament?"
The eyes of Trunks and Son Goten lit up instantly.
"That sounds so interesting! We want to go!"
Bulma became interested as well.
"Alright, I actually wanted to see what other universes are like, too."
She had always been full of curiosity about the unknown, so she naturally wouldn't miss an opportunity like this.
Whis didn't give them much time to prepare and waved his staff again.
"Alright, everyone is here, let's set off."
A flash of light passed, and the figures of the group vanished from Earth in an instant.
Nearly two hours passed in the blink of an eye, and Beerus's party had arrived at the Nameless Planet in the neutral space.
Whis had long since finished setting up the venue with his divine power, his efficiency astonishingly high.
One could see that the sky above the Nameless Planet was shrouded in a massive energy dome, which recreated the atmospheric environment of Earth to ensure that Son Goku and the others could breathe normally. In the center of the dome was a giant circular fighting ring, the material of which was incredibly hard and capable of withstanding the high-intensity combat of the warriors. On both sides of the ring were floating spectator stands, arranged quite comfortably. Furthermore, in accordance with Beerus's request, several snack stalls had been added around the ring, filled with various delicacies brought from Earth so that he could enjoy them while watching the matches.
"We've been waiting for nearly an hour, and that guy Champa still hasn't shown up."
Trunks stood up and complained with some impatience.
"Are we going to fight or not? I want to see the strength of the Universe 6 powerhouses as soon as possible."
Son Goten chimed in as well.
"Exactly, he has no sense of time at all, does he?"
It wasn't just them; Son Goku couldn't sit still either, pacing back and forth.
"Why aren't they here yet? I can't wait to start fighting."
Vegeta crossed his arms, leaning back against the seat in the spectator stand, his expression somewhat gloomy.
"Hmph, just as Lord Beerus said, he's sluggish in everything he does."
Beerus, while eating a dorayaki in his hand, said, "Don't be impatient, wait a little longer. That guy is definitely showing off the warriors he selected, which is why he's delayed."
He knew the personality of his twin brother all too well.
Just as everyone's patience was about to run out, a brilliant flame of light suddenly descended from the sky, landing heavily in another section of the spectator area.
After the light faded, the figures of Champa and Vados appeared before everyone's eyes, and following behind them were five warriors—the very contestants selected from Universe 6.
These five warriors were all quite different in appearance:
One wore an orange combat suit, had a sturdy build and sharp eyes; this was the Saiyan Cabba.
One had short blue hair, wore a black tight-fitting combat suit, was beautiful in appearance, and carried a hint of defiance; this was the Saiyan Caulifla.
Standing beside her was a petite girl with long green hair, her eyes timid and looking as if she were frail; this was Kale, who also possessed Saiyan blood.
There was also one wearing a gray combat suit and a mask, exuding a cold aura from his entire body; this was the assassin Hit.
The last one wore a black coat with a hood pulled over his head, his face completely obscured, making it impossible to see his features; one could only sense the strange, faint aura emanating from him—his name was Frost.
Lin Fan frowned slightly upon seeing these five warriors.
He remembered that these were not the only powerhouses in Universe 6, and what surprised him was that Kale, who appeared timid and frail, was actually among them.
He was well aware that Kale possessed the bloodline of the Legendary Super Saiyan, just like Broly from Universe 7; once she transformed into the Legendary Super Saiyan, her strength would become terrifyingly immense.
The gazes of Bulma, Trunks, and Son Goten were first drawn to Champa.
"My god, it's just like what Son Goku said—it's a chubby version of Lord Beerus!"
Bulma widened her eyes, unable to stop herself from exclaiming.
Son Goku had mentioned Champa's appearance to her over the phone before, but she had assumed he was joking; now that she saw it with her own eyes, she realized it was actually true.
Subsequently, their gazes fell upon Caulifla and Kale, and seeing two women among the Universe 6 warriors—especially with Kale looking so terrified—they were filled with confusion.
Champa scanned the audience and asked with a hint of bewilderment:
"Yo, Beerus, did you go out of your way to find this many spectators?"
"Cut the crap!"
Beerus stood up from the spectator seats in a huff and walked toward Champa.
"Look at what time it is? We've been waiting for you for nearly an hour!"
"Can't you have any sense of punctuality, you guy?"
Champa showed no sign of guilt, instead laughing triumphantly:
"What's the rush? The main characters always make their entrance last!"
"Making you wait a little longer only highlights the importance of me and the warriors I've selected."
Beerus couldn't be bothered to argue about the tardiness, so he crossed his arms and said coldly:
"Enough with the useless talk."
"Hurry up and bring out the six Super Dragon Balls you promised and place them here as the prize!"
"If you dare to pull any tricks, you know the consequences!"
Champa's smile remained unchanged as he clapped his hands:
"Rest assured, I, Champa, keep my word!"
He gave Vados a wink.
Vados nodded, waved her staff, and tapped it lightly against the ground.
Hum—
A dazzling golden light flashed, the ground beneath everyone's feet trembled slightly, and a massive rift suddenly tore open in the sky.
Immediately after, six spheres radiating immense energy slowly flew out from the rift one by one.
These six spheres were truly gargantuan, each one comparable to a small planet, hovering in the sky and obscuring a vast portion of the heavens, delivering a powerful visual impact.
"This... is this a Super Dragon Ball?"
Bulma widened her eyes, her face full of shock.
"Isn't it a bit too big?"
Although she had heard Beerus say that the Super Dragon Balls were much larger than ordinary Dragon Balls, she had never imagined it would be this exaggerated; it completely refreshed her perception.
Trunks and Son Goten were even more dumbfounded, their mouths agape and unable to speak.
The largest things they had ever seen were the mountains and oceans on Earth, which, compared to these planet-sized Super Dragon Balls, were hardly worth mentioning.
Son Goku scratched his head, exclaiming in wonder:
"Wow, this is my first time seeing such huge Dragon Balls!"
"If we gather all seven, wouldn't the Shenron summoned be even bigger than the Earth?"
Vegeta's gaze was also drawn to the Super Dragon Balls, a flash of surprise crossing his eyes before he quickly regained his composure:
"Hmph, no matter how big they are, they are merely tools for granting wishes."
Even so, he had to admit to himself that the sheer scale of these Super Dragon Balls truly exceeded his imagination.
Lin Fan looked at the six Super Dragon Balls with an expressionless face.
To him, the appeal of the Super Dragon Balls was not very great; with his strength, he could achieve most of what he wanted on his own, without any need to make a wish to a Shenron.
